HTTYD 2 Trailer Novelization – Stormfly, Fetch!
"Do we go back?" asked one of Eret's poachers. Unbeknownst to the group, a certain bunch of teens and dragons were approaching rapidly from behind.
"We've nowhere to go! Nothing to sell! And no heads to call our own!" snapped Eret, "If we don't turn up with dragons and fast – GYAAAAAAAH!"
Stormfly swooshed past and plucked him off the deck of his ship.
"Careful what you wish for!" a girl's voice shouted mischievously.
"Eret, Son of Eret!" yelled the poachers, and they rushed to their battle stations. They fired a bunch of nets at the Nadder. But Stormfly dodged it all.
"Gotta do better than that!" she crooned. In her claws Eret gasped.
"What is this?!" he demanded. Riding on Stormfly's saddle, Astrid leaned over so she could talk to Eret.
"A kidnapping," she smiled cheekily. Ruffnut urged Barf and Belch to fly closer.
"Ooh yay!" she grinned excitedly, "Can he ride with meeeeeeee? Can he? Can heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?"
Tuffnut spluttered in disgust and piloted Barf and Belch away from Stormfly.
"UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he sighed.
"You're gonna show us the way to Drago," Astrid ordered Eret.
"And help dragon riders sneak into Drago's camp?" asked Eret disbelievingly, "Just kill me now!"
"That can be arranged!" Astrid shot back, mischief evident in her blue eyes.
"Oh no!" Eret thought, "She wouldn't!"
"Stormfly! Drop it!"
She would.
"Ha ha ha ha ha! Gladly!" smirked Stormfly.
Eret yelled in alarm as he hurtled towards the icebergs far below.
"Good girl!" Astrid said to Stormfly, patting her neck. Her tactic was working!
"Stormfly, fetch!" giggled Astrid, pointing to a shrinking Eret far down below.
"You make this too fun, milady," chuckled Stormfly, chasing after a still-shrieking Eret.
"ALRIGHT! OKAY! I'LL TAKE YOU TO DRAGO!" Eret shouted frantically in defeat. He had almost reached the icebergs when Stormfly caught him… just.
"Heh, works every time," grinned Astrid smugly. She stretched her arms and leaned back to relax for the long journey that lay ahead.
