A.N: So I've basically been dead. I am so sorry to my followers. I just never got around to writing anything... Agh. Anyway, so I wrote this awhile ago, and I was looking at it and it kind of reminded me of how I felt Ian would be after DOD. It's very short, I know. It's nothing compared to what you guys deserve, and I am soooo sorry! If any of you read this and have an idea for me, ya know, something you would like to see me do, I will try. Just to make it up to you guys.
Vast Shadow
A shadow covers his heart,
dark and vast,
like the ocean.
Currents of sadness plague him,
like waves of heat from the sun.
He feels a never ending pain.
His body is broken,
his mind shattered.
All caused by
the vast shadow
that covers his being.
He feels needed,
and loved,
by no one.
His world is full of night,
an inky twilight.
There is nothing
anyone can do,
you or I,
to take the veil
away from where it rests,
as a vast shadow
upon his heart.
