"You're so childish, Ryu."
You smile and it fills my heart up with joy. It's not a fake smile, I can tell cause Kuma says it reaches your eyes and thats how you know a smile is for real. Even if you are trying to look angry. I'm not even sorry for drawing on the floor this time.
"What, Touma?" I blink up at him innocently, a mischievous smile perched on my lips. I pretend not to have heard him. Kuma says its nap time and lays down, which cracks me up. He always does that when he knows I'm going to be getting in trouble.
Touma looks at me for a minute, then holds out his hand; helping me to my feet, before bending to retrieve my broken crayons and Kumagoro. He passes my things to me. I tuck the crayons into my kangaroo pouch and craddle sleepy little kuma in one arm while Touma takes the other and led me away from the studio.
"I made it all shiny, Touma." I smiled, "Don't be angry, okay?" I bit my lip feeling a little ashamed, but Touma just smiles.
"Yes, you made it very shiny, Ryu." My chest if full of butterflies, I feel them in there trying to escape.
Suddenly I wish Kuma were awake to tell me if that was a real smile or just another one of his ploy smiles.
He gives my hand a squeeze as we leave the N-G building and walk into the sunset. I think it's a real smile after all.
