Arceus and T were sitting in the lounge one morning when T realized something. "Arceus, you remember how I'm a princess, right?" She asked. "Yes, of some dimension called the multiversal core, right?" Asked Arceus.
"Right. Have you ever wanted to see it?" Asked T. Arceus face lit up. "Sure! I bet it must be cool" said Arceus. "Well, it is currently in ruins. You see, I recently made a discovery that there may be different versions of me scattered through the multiverse. I have reason to believe that there was some sort of accident there at some point in time that made the original me split up and loose all of my memories. This same accident probably destroyed the core" said T.
"So why do you want to take me there?" Asked Arceus. "Because It is probably going to be safer I'd I go there with someone in its present state" said T as she opened a portal. Arceus thought for a Minute before walking into the portal followed by T.
They ended up in a weird dimension that looked like it was a dark void. There were cracked and shattered gears a few of which were moving, stones covered in glowing lines, winding stone pathways, orbs with images of other worlds inside them, random junk, floating stone platforms, and other ancient and mystical things just floating around it. Some were suspended, others were moving slowly or even quickly in random directions back and forth, up and down, left and right, forward and backward, or in circles or ovals or squares or triangles. There was also a very dark grey orb far beneath them. That seemed to be suspended by a large amount of wires.
"Ok…this is really weird. It's like the reverse or distortion world. Only more…I just can't place it" said Arceus as she looked around. "Well, this is the place I am princess of. It always gives me a weird vibe when I come here. It's like something terrible happened here at some point. Something that changed the multiverse" said T.
A portal over another pathway opened and sonic fell out. "Woah, this reminds me of the Final Gate leading to the place where I fought the time eater. Talk about de Ja veu" said Sonic. "Hey sonic! Over here!" Called T. Sonic looked over and waved.
"Hey T, Arceus, mind telling me where I am?" Asked Sonic. "Your in the multiversal core! I might need your help in a bit. Try to find your way over here! Called T. Sonic nodded and ran over to a platform that had just arrived by the path he was in and rode it over to T and Arceus.
"So why are you two here?" Asked Sonic. "Well, I was just showing Arceus what I'm a princess of. Now that you're here, I might as well show you the Main part" said T as she walked off down the path. The other two looked at each other before running to catch Up with her.
They all jumped onto a moving gear and rode it to a platform where an orb with an image in it of a stormy sky sent out a lightening bolt that formed an evil face in front of them before vanishing
"This is getting more and more creepy" said sonic. "Now let's go see that machine over there. It's like the central part" said T. They looked to the left and saw a platform moving over from the main platform. They jumped on it and it carried them over to the machine. "It looks like an ancient machine" said Sonic.
The machine thus far looked kind of like a Lego Dimensions basic portal but without any keystones and much bigger in size and it had a swirling portal inside that looked like it was showing a castle in it. There was a multitude of wires and cables and gears going down below it to the dark grey orb far below them.
"Ok, seriously T, your core isn't just creepy, it's older than I am" said Arceus. "Don't insult my core just because you don't like how it looks" said T defensively.
They got to the main platform and jumped off the platform they were on. T walked over to the machine and looked at it. "So what is this thing" Asked Arceus.. It looks like I remember it, but there didn't used to be a portal inside the frame" Said T. "T, maybe you should try using a judgement attack on the frame while Arceus used one at the orb below us while I use chaos control on the surrounding area" said Sonic. "It's worth a shot…anything to get this thing up and running before the whole multiverse dies." said T as she transformed to her Pokemon form. "I personally think he just wants to see what it is" said Arceus.
She and Arceus began to charge up their attacks and as sonic used chaos control using T's Emerald, they both fired off their attacks.
The whole platform began to rumble as several gears fixed themselves and began to turn after linking themselves to the already turning ones. Meanwhile, the orb below them began to change colors. "What's happening?!" Asked Arceus. "That actually worked?!" Asked T. The portal then pulled them all inside after changing to show the hall of origin.
"I'm going back to Tails' place. We were going to take apart a badnik to see why there was five animals inside when a portal just dragged me to the core. Later" said Sonic as he walked to the hall's portal and jumped in.
"Well, that was interesting" said Arceus. T just nodded.
