Disclaimer: I don't own Young Justice or Teen Titans, but I love them both.
It was a normal day for them all. Artemis and Wally aka Kid Flash were yelling with each other, Conner aka Superboy and M'gann aka Miss Martian were watching T.V, and Richard aka Robin and Kaldur aka Aqualad were training. However, the normality was disturbed when they all were called to the main room.
"What's going on?" asked Wally, who was annoyed that his argument with Artemis was interrupted.
"Well, we have a ...visitor." replied Batman.
"Well? Who is it?" asked Superboy.
A figure stepped out of the shadows.
"Hello Robin." said Raven.
"RAVEN! Uhh, what are you doing here?" exclaimed Robin.
"To talk, Robin. Do you have ANY idea what's it been like back in Jump city? It's either Slade attacking and mocking us for losing our former leader, Red X trying to molest me, or Kitten basically trying to break into the tower to find you! You just get up and leave us, and you expect us to be ok with it? If you weren't my friend before, I'd try to kill you!"
"I'm not your friend anymore, Raven?" asked Robin.
Her eyes blazed with fury. He winced. He hadn't seen her that mad in, well, ages. "IS THAT ALL YOU CARE ABOUT! YOU LEFT US FOR DEAD! WE HAVEN'T BEEN THE SAME SINCE YOU LEFT! WHEN YOU FIRST LEFT, STARFIRE WAS CRYING HER HEART OUT, BEAST BOY WAS SPENDING EVERY MOMENT HE HAD SNIFFING OUT FOR YOU, AND CYBORG WASDOING EVERYTHING HE COULD TO FIND YOU, WITH NO AVAIL BECAUSE YOU WERE HERE!" Raven screamed.
"Look, Raven, I'm sorry, but—"began Robin.
"Sorry? SORRY? THAT'S ALL I GET AFTER YOU LEAVE! GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T BE MAD A T YOU!" Raven yelled.
"Because I thought it would be best for all of you." Robin replied.
"How would you think that was best, Robin. Starfire loves you, and you're like a brother to Cyborg and Beast Boy." said Raven.
"What about you?" whispered Robin.
"You're my best friend. Or, were." Raven replied. You should have talked with us about this. When you left, Starfire couldn't use her powers, and the rest of us couldn't really function as a team without you."
"I really am sorry, but this is my new team now. Gosh, I really haven't introduced you to any of them because we were arguing. This is Superboy, Miss Martian, Kid Flash, Artemis, and Aqualad, our leader." said Robin.
"Nice to meet you all." said Raven.
"Hi!" said Miss Martian
"Hey" said Superboy
"Nice to meet you." said Artemis
"Welcome." said Aqualad.
"Hel-lo, Raven. How would you like to go out with a fine stud like me?" asked Kid Flash. Artemis whacked him on the head.
"No thanks, I don't date. And I especially wouldn't date you." replied Raven.
Everyone laughs and sits down to get to know Raven, and she learned about them. They enjoyed the time until Raven got up and said "I should probably go. The others are probably worrying about where I am, and it's getting late."
"Wait, Raven. Stay for a little while. I've missed you guys. And one night away from the tower couldn't hurt." said Robin.
"Ok. I definitely wouldn't mind being away from Beast Boy for a while. I'll just tell the others that I'm going to stay." said Raven.
Later That Night
Raven and Robin were in her temporary room as she visited. They talked and laughed as she told him of all the things he had missed when he was gone, and as he told her of all the things he experienced as a member of Young Justice. Just as he was about to leave, he turned around and asked "hey, uh...Raven. Did you guys um replace me as leader?"
She looked at him in shock. "Robin. Were you worried we replaced you? Robin, no one could ever replace you."
"Really?" asked Robin.
"Of course Robin. You don't have to be so insecure." said Raven. "Good night."
Robin left the room and smiled. He really had missed Raven. And now that she was here, he'd let her know how he felt. He wouldn't let her go this time.
