Moment of Truth

Harry said it was pity, not love.
Though tempted during her schooldays, Hermione had chose never to look into that mirror, fearing what she might find.
But one night she asked Snape to accompany her to the mirror.
"Hermione?"
Ron called it delusion.
Taking a deep breath, she faced the mirror.
In the reflection, Hermione saw nothing but what stood true before it: herself with Snape behind her, dark and comforting.
She wanted for nothing that she didn't have.
Hermione smiled as arms wrapped tightly around her, both movements mimicked by their ordinary-looking reflection.
"Satisified?"
"Completely."
How wrong they were.
