Angsty-go-happy drabble that appeared in my head :D If you don't understand what I mean at the end, don't worry. I don't expect you to :)
Tears
He was born to tears.
The sound of her crying, begging for it to be over. To the anguish of his uncle, begging to keep her alive. To the anger of the man he called father, begging for the sealing technique to work.
He was born to his sister's sorrow, staring blankly at nothing while she wondered when mommy was going to wake up again. To Kankurou's gaze, filled with some sort of jealousy and hatred, burning in his eyes.
He was born to the scared children, pointing at him from the corners and hurrying away. To the frustration of Sunagakure, the desert sand in uproar because of the little monster living within its walls. To Konohagakure's confusion at his gaze, his stare evil and filled with the sort of hopelessness, unheard of for them.
He died to tears. The sound of her crying, asking him to hold on a little longer. To the anguish of his brother, telling him to stay strong.
He died to the anger of his Sensei, begging him to keep breathing. To his wife's sorrow, staring blankly at him from the bed when she realised that she was to be a single mother. To his students' gaze, filled with some sort of respect and kinship, burning in their eyes.
He died to the scared children, wondering who would take care of them now. To the frustration of Sunagakure, the desert sand in uproar because of its master's passing. To Konohagakure's confusion at his gaze, his eyes at the kind of peace still unheard of. When he thinks back, he realises that his life began and ended in tears.
Their tears.
