Kurt did not like this at all.

He was excited at first. He spent the whole week thinking that the anonymous Valentine's Day cards where from Blaine. So when the man in the gorilla suit turned out to be the one and only Dave Karofsky, his heart dropped.

Ever since Dave started to accept who he was, Kurt thought he was on the right path. He wanted Dave to be happy. Sure, he may have made his life a living hell, but Kurt knew what it was like to be happy with whom he was and he knew what it was like to be in love. And Dave was not going down the right path by thinking he was in love with Kurt.

There was one thing that Kurt was dreading – telling Blaine.

It's not like he did anything wrong, but Blaine really didn't like Dave. He was all for Dave accepting that he was gay, but there are some things he won't forgive. So that's why when Kurt met Blaine at Breadstix for a post-Valentine dinner, he was nervous. There his gorgeous boyfriend was, sitting there with that big goofy smile that made Kurt's heart melt; no matter how many times he has seen it.

"Hey beautiful," Blaine said when Kurt sat down. He reached out across the table and grabbed Kurt's hand and noticed it was shaking. "Kurt. What's wrong?" He asked in a gentle voice.

Kurt gave him a small smile. "N-nothing. Nothing's wrong." Blaine just gave him the "I know something's wrong, please tell me, baby" look. Kurt sighed. "Okay. Just don't get mad at me." Blaine was instantly concerned.

"So you know how you were gone all week." Blaine frowned. He didn't like the fact that he had to spend Valentine's week away from his first (and beautiful, he always adds) boyfriend. Kurt continued. "Well, there was this secret admirer who sent me cards and other little things. I thought it was you being your normal sappy self, ya know?" Blaine nods and gives Kurt's hand a little squeeze. "So the secret admirer wanted to meet me here at Breadstix before Sugar's party. Since I thought it was you, I agreed. He took off the gorilla mask and it was…. Dave Karofsky."

Kurt took a deep breath. "Please don't be mad at me," Kurt said in a rush. Blaine just lifted their joined hands and kissed Kurt's knuckles. "Kurt, you are the smartest," –kiss- "funniest," –kiss- "sexiest," –wink- "most beautiful," –kiss- "person in Ohio. Hell, the whole world!" Blaine smiled. "So why would I be mad if someone else notices, even if it is Karofsky?"

Kurt relaxed. "Have I ever told you how absolutely amazing you are?"

"Don't worry. I already know," Blaine said with a wink.

"Huh. Yeah. Okay." Kurt's smile faded when a new thought occurred to him. "What am I going to do?" He dropped his head in to the hand that Blaine wasn't holding.

"About what, babe?"

"Dave."

"There's nothing you can do, beautiful. I don't blame him for falling for you. I mean, look at you!" Kurt couldn't help the blush that spread across his cheeks. "But it doesn't matter. He can't have you."

Kurt smirked. "Oh yeah? And why's that?"

"Because you're all mine."

And with that, Blaine leans across the table to kiss Kurt who forgets about all his worries from before.
