Here's a Valentine's Day story for everyone. This will be a ONE-SHOT story so the ending will remain open. Feel free to draw your own conclusions or even write your own ending. Anyway, I really hope you all enjoy this story.

The formal dining room was as lovely as the man sitting across from her. This was her first date with him. They had talked intermittently for some time, and this powerful man finally decided to meet her in the most luxurious restaurant in Crocus. Then, her phone rang.
"A ringing phone must be answered," he said smoothly after she begged his pardon. She returned his smile and pulled her phone out from her purse. It's Gray. He's a little late calling, but, fortunately, the date was going well. She slid the small phone icon on the phone screen to answer the call.
"Erza, don't panic when I tell you this." She glanced at her date.
"Tell me what?"
"Your date- he's… Jellal's trying to kill you."
She laughed as delicately as she could to maintain protocol. If she were to seduce information from this man, then she must be alluring. "You're being silly Gray."
"No, listen! We recovered intelligence from the Council that implicates him as not just an intel agent for Crime Sorciere, but he's also been identified as their political assassin. You've got to get out of there so we can regroup. Their corporation sent him here to gather information from you and execute you as well as the rest of the investigative team. We have to-" the line went dead.
"Gray? Gray are you there?"
Silence.
Jellal drew a look of feigned empathy. "He had to go so soon?"
She slowly ended the call and glared at her date. "He had an emergency. He had to go."
"Such a shame. It's a terrible thing when you have an emergency, when you're alone… When you're helpless." Jellal smiled at her again, crossing his legs and reclining. "But you're not alone, are you? I am here, and I will be here if you have an 'emergency'."
"Perhaps there's three of us. Some people give names to their guns."
"True, then if that's the case there would be four of us here. The more the merrier," he said.
"I'm sure we'll have a blast."
Jellal stood, straightening his tuxedo. "Ah, I've always enjoyed the music of Andre Rieu. Particularly Shostakovich` Second Waltz." He paused to listen to the ballroom music. "Life is full of music," he bowed, then looked up to extend his hand, "but eventually it ends. Would you care to waltz?"
She clutched her purse. He must die, but I can't kill him yet, even if he's discovered me. She needed his information. She needed to get him away from this place. The problem was, she actually felt the pangs of infatuation at his cool decorum. She was well aware of her emotions - all the better to lock them away, because she was even more aware of her mission. Her emotions may actually help her later. Or hurt her.
She may have lost contact with Gray, but in case her intelligence was intercepted, she had an ace up her sleeve that even this spy, cunning as he was gorgeous, couldn't know about. She tugged at her evening glove. "Dance with you? I might, only if it's so good it's the last one we ever have."
She took his hand and began counting down from five to prepare. He glanced at her evening glove, and his smile faltered slightly. "It will be."
