Down the Other Forks
Elsa looked out at the joy her powers had brought, at her sister learning how to skate from Olaf, at how her sister's boyfriend stood to the side with his reindeer, even Kai and Gerda seemed to have regained some of their former youth.
She smiled at the wonderful sight, content in the knowledge that everything had worked out in the end, sure there were problems, like the failed harvest, the threat from Weselton and the need for an heir, but that seemed so far away now.
Elsa thought very little of what might have been. But that's what we are here for.
Let me be your guide, in a trip sideways through time.

Time is like a endless road with innumerable forks. If we went down another fork we'd see that many things go differently.
Four forks shall we travel down, four forks with sights that are both new and familiar. The one thing they have in common are that they all pertain to the same characters.
A man and his brother wrong a different creature or a terrible accident occurs with just slightly different factors to change it in four unique ways.
And like a butterfly flapping its wings in Mexico to cause a tornado in India, things change due to seemingly insignificant things like the aim of a panicked child or the haste of an old healer collecting herbs for healing poultices or the rush of scared parents looking for a solution.
In one fork, the girl got away with forced amnesia, a discoloured tress of hair, and separation from her best friend and sister. Others weren't so lucky. These are their stories.
The stories of those that wait down the other forks.
AN: If this takes very long, don't worry. The chapters are going to be extremely long and with school and everything it's going to be very slow. I'll start with the one I've thought out the most and which might be the shortest.
