--Kisukia's POV.--

I was walking alone on the streets.

Walking alone, commonly was done by I, and so I was once more, when I had that feeling. This feeling, for I, was not of the most unusual, and so I turned 'round and about to see whom was stalking me on this night of all nights, instead of heading quickly home. I thought it was likely to be Luna, for she never left my poor old soul alone. She was frightened, deep down, I'm sure of this, though she'd never admit it. She wanted me to become sane like she, she would say, though I didn't know what she was talking about, for I was not out of touch with reality. It must have had to do with my streak of evil, I suppose, where I was so short-tempered and hostile that I would harm someone easily. This qualified as insanity? I thought not, but I didn't feel like arguing with Luna, of all people.

Anyways, shock came to me, mild shock though it was, as I saw it was a boy. Others followed him, but he was the one that looked to be of most importance, at least compared to the other four. After looking at this boy, I saw another, however, that I was strangely drawn to. He walked alongside a rather loud-mouthed boy, but he was quiet and seemed of calm nature. Don't take this the wrong way; I was not -attracted- to him or any of them, for I would be betraying the trust of someone else. Not to mention it was impossible for me to be attracted to them. Eh... you'll see why... maybe.

Tilting my head to the side, I studied them carefully. They looked as surprised to see me as I looked to see them, save for what seemed their leader. He looked rather cold. I was like him often, being in that cold, withdrawn state. I waited for one of them to speak, for I liked not to waste my breath.

"Erm... hi!" said the blonde-haired kid first.

"Hello," said I blankly. "What are you doing here?"

"Beyblade practice!" he said.

"You're 'bladers?" I inquired, very interested now that I knew that.

"Yeah," said another boy, the rather loud one, "what's your name?"

I replied with, "Suki." I did not tell him my full name, Kisukia Myurha, but telling him I was Suki was no lie, as it was my nickname.

"Oh, well I'm Tyson."

"I'm Max!" said the blonde boy brightly. Was he always this happy?

"My name's Rei," said the calm voice of the golden-eyed boy.

"I'm Kenny."

"Name's Hilary."

The cold one said nothing, just kind of stared at me eerily, so I said, "Do you have a name, or are you mute?"

He glared at me, ignored my last comment, and said stiffly, "Kai."

"Kai, Tyson, Rei, Max. Those names ring a bell."

"That's because I'm the world champion beyblader!" said Tyson, a bit arrogantly, it seemed to me.

"Well, titles mean nothing to me," I said coolly.

"Oh yeah?" said Tyson.

"Yes," I said with a mild shrug. "I'm sure I could beat you if I felt like it."

"Do you have a 'blade to back up your mouth?" asked Tyson.

"Sure, but why should I waste my time battling -you-?" I asked.

He twitched. I was getting to him. It was kind of funny. "I'll have you know, I could beat you any time, anywhere!"

"You're not worth my time," I said. With that, I turned and began walking away.

"YOU COWARD!" he yelled after me. "You're running away, just 'cause you know I can beat you."

I turned 'round to face him quite slowly. "You bastard. You don't know what you're getting yourself into," I said quietly.

"That's what they all say! I'm not afraid of you!"

"Too bad, because you will be soon," I said venomously. "Oh, poor ol' soul!" I yelped suddenly. "Flames of hell she was burned!" And I don't remember anything else, as I was thrownsuddenly into one of my trances.
