Never Too Late
Chapter 1
Rain
I ran in the rain from my house. My parents were still fighting, i needed to get away, or i would surely go nuts. I just moved here a day ago, so i dont know where to go. So i ran untill i got tired, and i was in front of a house. I decided to try my luck and knock. Or ring the doorbell?
"Hello? Oh hey i know you, your that new goth girl! Joceyln right? If your looking for the other Goths, they should be at the cemetery." said a boy with raven hair.
"Uhh...no, i was ru-walking around and i was looking for somewhere to just hang around." i said. Im punk not goth, i thought bitterly.
"Well i was acctually just about to head out to meet up with some friends, you can come if you want." he said, he looked kinda cute now that i look at him. Raven hair under a blue hat, a brown jacket, blue eyes, oh crap im staring!
I blush lightly and follow him.
"Oh and since the place that im going isnt far im gonna walk, ok?Oh and my name is Stan!" he asked, already a few feet ahead.
"Yeah thats cool! And cool name!" i yell still trying to catch up.
We reached what looked like a mall in about 5 minutes. Outside were a group of people, that apparently greeted Stan. I couldnt tell, since i was listening to my music. Until the left headphone was pulled out by a dude in orange.
"Ah, Zombie by The Cranberries?" he asked.
"Yeah...you know them?" I asked, curious that another person knew about them.
"Yeah, i know a lot of bands. The Cranberries, Fall Out Boy, Panic At The Disco, tons. Oh how rude i almost forgot. My name is kenny." he said. I was impressed that he knew all those bands. Esspecially since they are my favorites.
"Im Jocelyn." i said in a monotone voice.
"Woah, we got another Craig! This ones a girl!" some fat dude yelled.
"Oh shut up fat ass." said a dude in blue, flipping off the fat dude.
"Hey guys, if we dont hurry the movie will start and we will miss it!" said some girl in purple.
"Yeah Wendy's right. Lets get goin!" said a dude with a green hat.
Well, lets go see this movie.
