Hello everyone! I've been thinking about writing my own self-insert for a while now and I've finally gotten around to publishing it!

I own nothing from KOTOR, only Bethany and Katrina

Reviews are appreciated as is feedback :P

"Happy Birthday," my family and friend Bethany shouted as they brought over a vanilla cake with seventeen candles in it. Bethany sat beside me on the couch and grinned at me as they all sang 'happy birthday' to me.

When they all finished they were clapping and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at them. I suppose I couldn't expect anything less from my crazy family, but I still can't believe how energetic they are on my birthday.

My mom started cutting out pieces of cake and she stuck some ice cream next to each slice. Did she want Bethany and I to be all hopped up on sugar tonight?

When Bethany and I got our cake, we were the first ones; we had no hesitation to dig in to the lovely cake that my brother worked so hard at baking. It didn't take long for Bethany to start sneezing and I grinned at her. "Why do you eat things like ice cream and cake if you know you're allergic to dairy?" It's funny; Bethany and I always had this conversation whenever she drank milk or ate anything with dairy in it.

"Because it's so good!" Bethany said with a grin as she continued eating her food.

When we all finished our cake and ice cream, my parents decided it was time for me to open my presents. My mom and dad got me a gift card so I could buy books I wanted and my brother got me Batman: Arkham City. Needless to say, I was very happy with my gifts.

After I opened all of my gifts, Bethany and I headed to the living room and watched movies for a few hours. We took turns picking the movies: I chose Star Wars a New Hope and Bethany chose a martial arts movie that had Jackie Chan in it.

By the time we finished both the movies, it was around 10 and we decided it was time to go to bed. I headed up to my room and grabbed a few blankets on my bed. When I lifted the blankets something fell to the ground, which confused me since I didn't remember setting anything on there. I saw that a box wrapped in blue wrapping paper was sitting on the ground.

I picked the box up and I headed downstairs with the mysterious package and the blankets. I threw Bethany a blanket and sat down on the couch as I tore the wrapping off the box. Inside the box was a small grey cube with circles spread around on all sides. It looked as if the circles were dimmed, as if the entire cube was supposed to be lit up somehow. I grabbed the edges of the cube and turned it around in my hand.

"What's that?" Bethany asked while she sat down next to me.

"I'm not quite sure. I just found it on my bed when I got the blankets," I said while inspecting the cube in my hands.

Bethany simply shrugged and went to the other couch to lie down. I followed suit and lied down on the couch I was sitting on. The cube was still in my hands and I kept turning it around constantly, trying to figure out what it was. While I was messing around with the cube, one side of it completely turned as if it were a Rubix cube. I turned the other side and the cube lit up, with a bright blue light pouring out of the circles that covered the cube.

I tried turning all sides on the cube, but they wouldn't move anymore. I glanced across the room and noticed that Bethany was asleep. Guess I can't ask her if she saw it light up, I thought before I went back to inspecting the cube. Since I couldn't figure anything else out with the cube, I set it down on the floor and laid my head back on the couch and closed my eyes.
