Marty Deeks was brave there was no denying that. He was brave when his dad hurt his mom he was brave when his dad hurt him he was brave when he shot his dad to protect his mom. He was brave when he got shot, he was brave when he was close to his death and he was brave when he had no fight left in him but carried on fighting but when he is with her Marty Deeks isn't brave not even close he is the biggest coward there is.
Marty Deeks is a great liar there is no denying that. he is a great liar every time he goes undercover, every time he has to get someone to trust him, every time he pretends it doesn't hurt all the lies all the secrets all the heartbreak, he is a great liar every time someone asks him if he is ok, every time someone wants to know if he is telling the truth and he is great liar every time he has to pretend to be someone's friend but when he is with her the way he has perfected his lies over the years just falls away and Marty Deeks become the world's worst liar.
Marty deeks was the biggest joker around there was no denying that. He jokes to cheer people up, he jokes to earn peoples trust, and he jokes to annoy people. He jokes to get himself out of serious conversations, he jokes to take the spotlight take the spotlight off him and he joke so no one would be suspicious that he isn't ok but when he is with her he finds himself being more serious than he has ever been when he with her Marty Deeks jokes fall flat on their faces.
Marty Deeks doesn't take risks there is no denying that. He didn't take risks when he was a cop he just did as he was told, he didn't take risks when he was a scared child whose father controlled him he just did as he was told and he never took risks when he first went undercover he just stuck to the rules. He didn't take risks when he got his first partner he just let them handle themselves, He didn't take risks when all the LAPD cops started to hate him he just kept himself to himself and he didn't take risks when he first joined NCIS he just fit right in. But when he is with her he finds himself taking risks that people would never take when he is with her Marty deeks becomes the biggest risk taker there is.
So Mart Deeks might be brave he might be a good liar he might be a big joker and he might not take risks but she is changing him bit moment by moment each breathtaking smile by breathtaking smile she is turning him into a coward for not telling her he loves her more than he has ever loved anyone before, she is turning him to a bad liar because every time he looks into her mismatches brown eyes all his techniques for lying just fall out of his grasp and he tells her the truth because he can't lie to her he never could, she is turning him more serious by the day he tried to joke around all the time with her he really did but it doesn't work he finds himself taking things more seriously than he ever had before because he just can't seem to be anything but when he is with her and she is turning him into a risk taker a gambler and there is no rule he wouldn't brake because now he doesn't do as he is told and let her handle herself he jumps right in there to protect her he takes risk after risk.
So Marty Deeks is changing and there is nothing he can do to stop because she is Kensi Blye his badass partner his wonderwoman his drug and change would change his everything for her.
