Alfred heard a light knock on his front door followed by, "Alfred-san! Are you home?"
Alfred raised his eyebrows as he got up from where he was sitting to answer the door. "Coming!" he shouted as he ran for the door. He opened to his friend, Kiku.
"Hey, dude! Why are you here?" Alfred asked.
Kiku raised up a box with the Apple logo on it. "I just bought iPad, and I want you to open it with me," he explained, smiling a bit.
"Oh, cool, dude!" Alfred agreed, his face filled with glee. "Come right in!"
Kiku followed Alfred inside of his home. Alfred took the iPad box from Kiku's hand and tossed it on his coffee table in front of the couch. The two of them sat down, side by side.
"So are you waiting for, dude? Open the box!" Alfred anticipated, pointing at Kiku's iPad box.
Kiku picked it up, turning it around, looking for the tab that opens it. Alfred was excited and squealing with happiness. He hadn't had an iPad, himself, so he was glad to see his friend have one.
"Alright, Alfred," Kiku replied, a bit irritated by Alfred's enthusiasm. He pulled the tab and opened the box. A faint, black rectangle appeared through a coating of bubble wrap.
"Take it out, Kiku! Take it out!" Alfred shouted with a smile on his face. He swayed back and fourth, nearly bursting in his excitement.
"Alfred, please contain yourself," Kiku anticipated. He was getting slightly annoyed by Alfred's constant outbursts. Ignoring it, Kiku carefully took the bubble wrapped iPad from the box and placed it on the table. He quickly unwrapped the iPad from it's bubble wrap so that Alfred wouldn't start shouting again. Kiku held the futuristic device up in his hand. Both Kiku and Alfred stared at it in awe.
Kiku pressed the home button and the screen lit up blue and grey. Alfred's face lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Alfred," Kiku started, "you may have honor to unlock it."
Alfred smiled so largely that he was in pain as he 'slid to unlock.' The iPad made a clicking noise as the home menu appeared.
Kiku quite literally snatched the iPad right from Alfred's hands. "There's camera app," he said as he swiftly opened it. He held up the iPad and snapped a shot of Alfred's face.
"Dude, what are you doing?" Alfred laughed, confused.
"I have compulsive need to take picture," Kiku stated. He promptly took several more shots of things surrounding him. However, his face lit up when he found out there was a video setting. He quickly tapped it. The front facing camera spotted itself on the top half on Kiku's face and the bottom corner of Alfred's. Kiku tapped record and stood up. He began walking around Alfred's appartment, Alfred himself following him around. The two of them walked throughout the space, Kiku narrating every now and then, saying things like, "And now we enter Alfred-san's office workspace." Soon enough, Alfred had to ask what the hell Kiku was doing.
"This feature is sugoi," Kiku replied, tapping the stop record button.
"Okay," Alfred started, "so let me use it!" Alfred reached his hands out for Kiku to hand him the iPad. Kiku nodded and handed the iPad to Alfred.
"Be carefu-"
Before Kiku could finish what he was saying, Alfred had already pulled Kiku in and snapped a double-selfie. Kiku with a disgusted, surprised face, and Alfred smiling. No matter how ridiculious, Kiku was going to keep this photo on his iPad for as long as he could.
