Lauren can't believe it. It's been 1 year since Noah called her "angel." They've been together ever since. They are celebrating their one year aniversary the night of nationals. Yes, Glee club has gotten to nationals twice. It was my turn to do my solo. Yes, I have a solo. I start to get a little nervous when I feel someone rub my shoulders. "You'll do great. I'll be right here the whole time." I look up and I see Noah's big brown eyes staring at me. Most people thought we would have never made it this far. But we proved them wrong. "Now for our most talented Lauren Zizes!" I hear Artie yell for me too come out. "Break a leg." Noah said, I just turned and smiled back at him. The music started to play.

The crowd is on their feet, clapping for me. We did it. We just won. Rachel has the last solo, and that will put us up in first. I only helped. I start to make my way towards the stage when. "Wait, Lauren." I hear Rachel say. "Everyone, my friend here wants to say something if you don't mind." All of a sudden I see Noah coming out from backstage. I'm a little confused. Everyone got quiet. "Lauren, I love you so much. I've already asked your dad. And I," He started tear up. I'm still a little confused. "Asked my dad what?" I said out loud. He starts to smile, pulls out a little box from his jacket. Everyone in the audience did a gasp, and I did the same. He got down on one knee and said. "Marry me?" I just smile, tears are flowing from my eyes. "Yes." I let out my breathe that I didn't realize I was holding.
Everyone started clapping. The music starts playing and I took that as our cue to leave. "This is for my happily engaged friends." Rachel said smiling. And she started to sing. We get to back stage and everyone actually left us alone. "I love you." Noah said. I just smile back never letting go from his hand. "I love you too Noah." I smiled and leaned in and kissed me.
