Back with the guys, unease twisted my stomach just thinking about what their reactions might be.
"Aw, look at the new couple!" Kendall said.
I had a deep sigh of relief.
"You two are the perfect match." Logan said.
"Totally!" James chimed in.
"Hey Jamie, why don't you come to our apartment with us?" Kendall offered.
"Sure, thanks!" I said.
Kendall took us to Apartment 2J, and let us all in. I looked at the door, remembering when I asked Mr. Bitters about the strikes. Mrs. Knight, I think, looked at me and smiled.
"Well, who is this lovely young lady?" she complimented.
I blushed in embarrassment.
"Oh, this is my girlfriend, Jamie." Carlos said, wrapping his arms around me.
"Well, congratulations, you two! I'm so happy."
I sat next to Carlos on the couch, and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer. I leaned my head on his shoulder, when Kendall spoke up, breaking the silence.
"Hey Carlos, Jamie!" Kendall called. "Come play dome hockey with us!"
"Sweet! You're on!" Carlos exclaimed.
"Do you know how to play dome hockey?" Kendall asked.
I answered, "If I know how to play regular ice hockey, I can play dome hockey."
"Cool, let's go!"
"James, you're on our team!"
"Okay, it's Jamie, Carlos, and James versus me and Logan."
"Wait, it's not equal." I said, trying to be fair.
"It's still the same, don't worry."
"Okay."
We all started to play.
I was good at defense, and Carlos was good at offense, so that was the good thing about my team.
Later...
"Yes!" James shouted.
We won, and James and Carlos were happy about that. Kendall hates losing, so he was mad.
"Oh, Kendall, it's okay. It's just a game. You'll cool off."
I hugged Kendall to comfort him.
"Now, who wants to go swimming?"
James and Logan said "Me!" while Carlos and I said nothing.
"Okay, so we'll be gone. Hey, you and Jamie can have some 'alone time.'" Kendall said, raising his eyebrows.
"Sounds good." Carlos said, facing me.
"Yeah." I said.
"Later, lovebirds!" James said, laughing.
"Oh, stop calling us that!" I said, laughing also.
"Later guys!" Carlos said.
When the guys closed the door, Carlos pulled me closer.
"It's great to be alone." he said to me.
"But what about Mrs. Knight, and Kendall's sister... what's her name... Katie." I replied.
"They went somewhere, I can't remember where though."
"How interesting."
"You know..."
"What?"
"I wanna know something."
"Yes?"
"Are you a good kisser?"
"I don't know. Are you?"
"How about we find out?"
"Sounds good to me."
Carlos moved closer to my face and pressed his lips upon mine. His kiss was very soft and caring, and I basically went to heaven. When our lips detached, Carlos asked, "How was that?"
And all I could say was...
