E/O Challenge: Sore. "Sore/Sore Too". Two unrelated 100-word drabbles. #1 Sam won't let go. #2 Sam teases his brother after a happy reunion, Warning: Crude, Dean/Castiel, post-Season 7

~#~

A/N: This is a Sam centric one as I didn't think I'd been giving him enough love recently...

Sore

When the ceiling fell in and the floor collapsed under them, Sam had managed to grab hold of Dean.

Luckily, Sam's jacket snagged on a protruding root before they dropped more than a couple of feet. Hugging his unconscious brother to his chest was the only thing stopping Dean from falling to his death.

Sam fumbled pulling his phone from his pocket and cursed as it slipped from his grip...

...It sounded like a long drop.

Screaming for help that might never come, he tried to ignore his pain.

No matter how sore his muscles, he would never let go...

A/N: Okay so this next one's a little crude... I'm a little ashamed; I blame it on post-work binge drinking... ;)

Sore Too

Scanning the crowd, Dean finally found his brother in the overcrowded Starbucks.

"So. Castiel's back then?" grinned Sam.

"Er, yeah, about that," Dean started to apologize.

"I'm not sore. I was really tired, it made sense to get another room so you two could talk," said Sam lightly, desperately trying not to laugh.

Dean cleared his throat, "Thanks, man. We had a lot to... discuss," his voice even deeper than usual.

"I bet you were up all night. Here, sit down," Sam smirked, offering his seat.

"Nah, I'm good, thanks," Dean answered quickly, trying not to wince at the thought.

A/N: Thank you to Enkidu07 and Onyx Moonbeam for all the effort you've put into the E/O drabble challenge - it's so often the highlight of my week, and I've lost count of the number of times it's inspired me to start writing again after a long, lost week of procrastination!

Okay, chick-flick moment over, move on, nothing to see!
