Hello guys! I heard this song a million times on the radio and it has been stuck in my head ever since. The only way to cure it is to write a song-fic ( yay!) :) Sorry if you don't like it.

I tried my best to change some of the words but most of them is already perfect for this story.

Enjoy and please review:D

I welcome criticism too:)

BTW, it works better if you listen to sad songs, preferably sad BGM of games while reading this:)

I was too late. Too late to save my best friend from getting hit. Hard. During the final battle. My closest childhood friend has been in a coma for seven years. For seven years I have been waiting. Waiting for my best and closest friend to wake up. But I guess that is never going to happen... Right?

I went to his room, the place he was resting in, pulled up a chair, and sat down beside his bed.

"S-say something... p-please..." I said, tears brimming in my eyes. I have been doing this for a really long time. But this time... it will be different.

. . .

"J-just say something... or I'll leave this place forever."

. . .

"I should have been the one instead..."

. . .

"I should've gone with you... to aid you..."

. . .

"Say something... or I'm giving up."

. . .

"I feel so small and defenceless without you."

. . .

"If I stumbled and fall, you would've pick me up and given me one of your award-winning smiles and say it will be all right."

. . .

"I was still learning how to follow my heart."

. . .

"Please... s-say something..."

. . .

"I'm sorry that I could not get to you..."

. . .

"Anywhere I should've gone with you."

. . .

"Say s-something..."

. . .

"I would give up anything to see you smile again..."

. . .

"D-don't leave me here by myself! I... I l-love you... there. I said it!"

. . .

" say something, dammit! S-say something..."

. . .

"Last time to say something, Link."

. . .

"Nothing? I thought so. Well, I'm leaving now... and never coming back. The only way to stop me is to say something. J-just ... say something..." I said, trying to hold on to the hope I still had.

. . .

"...goodbye."

. . .

I stood up, knocking the chair over, and ran out, slamming the door behind me. Where am I going? I don't know. Maybe to the surface or something. But one thing I know for sure is that, I am never coming back.

. . .

For those of you who are confused, Link was fighting Demise but got knocked out and has been in a coma for seven years.

Zelda is the one who broke down and left.

The ending of the story depends on you wether you want Link to wake up and find Zelda, or rather if Link will never wake up, it's all up to you:)

Thank you for reading ;D
