Snow and Dark
Long ago, there were three children, Freedert, Elliot and Kyle. They were childhood friends and always played with each other, even though Freedert and Kyle were of a different social class. Freedert was the daughter of the duke of her town, and Kyle was the nephew of the other town duke. Soon, Elliot and Kyle started having romantic feeling towards Freedert.
Years have passed and their towns were at war. Elliot and Kyle were both participating on opposite sides. Hoping that it would help, Freedert gave each of them a sword, hoping it would bring them protection. Freedert prayed for both of their safety in front of a power wielding art piece, created by the Hikari clan, which is a clan believed to bring their art to life, The Second Hand of Time. Freedert soon received a letter from her father stating the lack for medical equipment. Knowing her call of duty, she packs up some medical equipment and headed towards the war site on her pure white horse.
While this was happening, the duke of the other town, Kyle's uncle, also visited the second hand of time. Knowing that the Second Hand of Time had the power to take time away from a person, he wished the time of someone with importance to the other side of the war to have their time taken.
As soon as this wish was made upon, Freedert was stabbed perfectly in the heart by a golden sword. Her pure white horse, seeing the site of red, ran wild. People who witness this horrid act said that the sword didn't look like it was thrown from the enemy's side, but fell from the sky.
At the end of the war, it had finally come down to the last two remaining soldiers, Elliot and Kyle. They were fighting with all their might and each one had a few serious injuries, but were still able to stand and fight. They stumbled upon Freedert on the ground, covered in a sea of blood. Both of them dropped their swords and took her to the Second Hand of Time as a last resort to save her life. They begged and prayed for the Second Hand of Time to give their remaining to Freedert, in order to save her.
The Second Hand of time answered their call and granted their wish. Her eyes fluttered open and the blood that surrounded her turned into rose petals. Elliot and Kyle were close to taking their final breath. She couldn't bear seeing them in this much pain. Imagining a world without them was impossible for her, so she turned to the Second Hand of Time and pleaded, " If my existence is coming from the light that the two of them gave me, I don't want it. Return it back to them. End this war which started this cruel exchange of existence and time. Set those people free of the will to kill and destroy." Freedert grabbed the gold sword from before and stabbed herself through the heart once again, triggering the Second Hand of Time to use the last of its powers. Although the Second Hand of Time can take and freeze time, it cannot restore it. It ended the war as it was told, but didn't return the time it took from the three. Instead, it froze their time, making their time together everlasting.
