A new beginning
Buffy and Dawn moves to Colorado Springs to start over. When they meet their new neighbor,Murry things aren't what they seem.
It has been a year since the final battle.
A year since Willow activated all the potential slayers into real slayers, defeated the first evil and closed the hellmouth.
Buffy,Xander,Willow,Faith and Giles had rebuilt the Watchers Council, and although there was still much work to do. Buffy made the decision to leave London and return to the states to give Dawn a normal life, or as normal as can be seeing who she was.
Buffy and Giles was standing by the door leading outside with two suitcases waiting for a cab to come to take Buffy and Dawn to the airport. Dawn was upstairs telling Vi and Rona good bye. She promised to call and write them when she could.
Buffy having said her goodbyes to Willow and Xander was talking to Giles about her concerns on leaving.
"Are you sure it's okay for Dawn and I to be leaving?
Xander and Willow didn't seem too happy that we were leaving."Buffy asked.
"I'm sure Buffy, Dawn needs to live a life away from the Supernatural and so do you. At least for a while anyway. I have brought you house and everything is paid for. You don't have to worry about any bills,the council will pay for everything. You will also be receiving a check every month for food and clothing and what ever else you will need.
You can also go back to college as well. You don't have to worry about anything Buffy, just live your life,you deserve it after all you been through." Giles said.
Buffy couldn't believe what she just heard.
"Giles,you didn't have to do this, Thank you. "Buffy said not really knowing what say.
She couldn't help but smile.
"Yo B,catch!" Faith yelled throwing the Slayer Scythe to Buffy who easily caught it .
Looking at Faith who was walking towards her and Giles and seeing Dawn walking not too far from behind Faith.
Before Buffy could ask.
Faith spoke, "I have a bad feeling that you're going to need it B,Plus I don't feel right keeping it. The scythe belongs to you."Having learned to trust Faith's instant. Buffy nodded her head in understanding.
Then Buffy looked at Dawn and ask, "Are you ready?"
Dawn nodding her had saying "yes". Just as the cab pulled up blowing the horn letting them know he was there. Buffy hugged Giles.
"Thank you Giles,take care of everyone for me please." Buffy said almost in tears.
Giles hugged Buffy back and said "I will."
Then Dawn hugged Giles and said her goodbyes to him too.
Buffy and Faith just looked at each other for a few minutes then finally hugged each other.
"You and little D is the closest thing to family I have so take care of each other please." Dawn having heard Faith Said, "Don't worry Faith, We will Hugging Faith after Buffy let go of Faith. After they finished their goodbyes Both Dawn and Buffy grabbed their suitcase and putting them into the cab and then getting into the cab themselves and closed the door then waved goodbye to Giles and Faith who waved back. Now Heading to the airport,All Buffy could think about was finally getting to live a normal life. She just hoped that Faith was wrong. And that she wouldn't have to use the scythe only time will tell. Until then, She was determined to live as normal as she can. To have a new beginning for the both of them.
