Jefferson walked into Regina's house carrying an unconscious teenage girl.
"I found her in the street", he said, "She was just laying there."
He placed her carefully on the couch, and then turned to Regina.
"Thanks for knocking", she said, angrily, "Who is she and where the he…".
Before Regina could finish her sentence, the girl woke up grabbing at her neck as if she was trying to claw something off. Regina stormed out of the room
"Where is it", she asked, franticly, "Where is my necklace"?
Jefferson reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver chain with a locket on it.
"You mean this necklace?" he asked as if taunting the girl
She knocked him to the ground, pinning the hand with the necklace in it, near his head.
"Did you look at it", she asked, angrily, "And don't you dare lie to me Jefferson."
"Yes", he said, "I did. Why do you have a picture of Regina and I in it?"
"That is none of your concern right now", she said as she snatched the necklace, "And if you tell Regina what you saw, I will rip your throat out, do you understand me?"
"Who are you", he asked the girl, "You look a lot like Regina. I have never seen you here before, where are you from?"
"My name is Alice, my father died when I was eight and my mother always blamed me for it, so she cast me aside. My grandmother took me in and raised me. I traveled back to try to stop my father's death. Jefferson, I came back to save you."
He was baffled by this. After about five minutes, it finally clicked.
"Regina and I have a daughter?" he asked.
"Actually, you have two", she told him, " I have a younger sister named Aaliyah. Mother always loved her more than she loved me."
"So when are you conceived?" he said.
"About one week ago", she told him, "Regina doesn't even know yet so don't tell her, please. Both of our lives depend on it."
