"Bye Keria." My head jumped to the side, a blush on my cheeks. Axel saw this and smirked, leaning against the wall.
"B-Bye A-Axel." He nodded his head in direction of the other girls next to me and walked out of the room. And almost as soon as the door was shut, the room became very loud.
"What was that?!" "Aww, do you like him?" "Of course she likes him! It's Axel, what's not to like?" "And apparently, he likes her back." Hard to believe it's only two girls talking. And all the while, my blush blossomed.
"I'd say it might be love."
Whoa, back track for a second. Who said anything about love?!!?
"And by the way she's blushing, I'd say she loves him back." W-What?
"Awww!! Our little Keria loves Ax-mmph" you slapped your hand onto Kairi's mouth, shocking everyone in the room; including you.
"That proves it. She loves him!" Namine clasped both her hands together, a sparkly background forming behind her.
"B-But! I can't love Axel!"
"And why the hell not?" Huh. When did Kairi take my hand off her mouth?
"When we were wondering where the heck the background came from." Oh.
"B-Because! It's Axel! The playboy, the slacker, the-"
"Boy who loves you back." Again with this love thing?
"Guys! If's there's a prize for rotten judgment, I guess I've already won that. No man is worth the aggravation! That's ancient history, been there-done that!" Wow, this is a perfect time to sing Hercules. Probably never get a chance like this again.
Apparently, Kairi and Namine thought so also.
"Who'd' ya think you're kidding? He's the earth and heaven to ya!" "Try to keep it hidden, honey we can see right through ya!" "Girl ya can't conceal it! We know how you feel and who you're thinking off!"
"No chance! No way! I won't say it no no!"
"You swoon, you sigh. Why deny it, uh-oh!"
"It's to, cliché! I won't say I'm in love."
Man, why can't they believe me! I'm not in love with Axel!
"I thought my heart has learned its lesion. It feels so good when you start out. My head is screamin 'Get a grip girl!'" I grabbed my head and sunk to the floor, laughing on the inside. "'Unless you're dying to cry your heart out!'"
Both girls got off of my bed and pulled me up, "giving me a lecture" which basically means, wagging their fingers and singing the song.
"You keep on denying! Who you are and how you're feeling." "Baby we're not buying. Hon we say ya hit the ceiling!" At this, they both bonked me on the head. Stars floated around my head until I shook them away. "Face it like a grownup!" "When ya gonna own up that you got got got it bad?" I huffed and turned away stubbornly.
"No chance! No way! I won't say it no no!" Kairi huffed and walked around me while Namine snuck out of the room unnoticed.
"Give up! Give in, check the grin you're in love!" She grabbed my shoulders, shaking me hard. Growling, I pushed her away.
"This scene won't play; I won't say I'm in love."
"You're doing flips, read our lips you're in love!" I blinked, looking over towards the door where Namine stood.
'What the…why is she standing over by the door?'
"You're way off base, I won't say it! Get off my case, I won't say it!" Namine winked at Kairi who smirked in reply. I gulped, wondering what their planning. With a big shove, I slammed into the door with Kairi and Namine looming over me.
"Girl don't be proud, its okay you're in love!" they backed up, giving me space. I sighed and slid down the door, fingering the ring on my pointer finger.
A ruby glimmered in the light, winking at me. With a giant sigh, I lowered my voice slightly.
"Oh~ At least, out loud…I won't say I'm in…love."
"Never knew you felt that way about me."
