Hey everybody! This story is for 'Storm337' and I also recommend you check out Storms profile about the OC I was asked to include. It is not necessary but it would help in understanding the character better.
Chapter 1 - WAKE UP!
"Shadow? Shadow get up! We're gonna be late!"
The ebony hedgehog groaned softly and held a pillow to his head in an attempt to block out the intruding rays of the morning sun and the voice of his sister.
Storm glared at the lump of tangled sheets that concealed her brother, "Shadow…" she warned "Don't make me force you to get up!" After receiving no acknowledgement , she went into his on-suite bathroom and filled a large glass with cold water (A/N: I think you know what's coming!) and proceeded back to were she was previously standing. "I'm not kidding…" and with that, yanked the pillow from his head and threw the water all over his fur-covered face.
With a yelp of surprise, Shadow leapt up and landed on all fours; quills bristling in anticipation for a further attack. Quickly getting back on two feet he shook his head and glared at his sibling defensively, "What the HELL Storm?!" he growled attempting to dry off with one of the many blankets that he slept in.
"Got you up didn't it?" she smirked with her hands of her hips, "Now hurry up and get changed." Storm threw a shirt and a pair of jeans at her brother before walking casually out of his room; "Ten minutes!"
The black anthropomorphic hedgehog sighed, leaning against his window sill, "Whatever…"
Nine minutes later, the dark figure came downstairs wearing some baggy black jeans and a dark grey T-shirt with red + white markings up the side. In his hand, he carried a black jacket that had red pin-stripes up the sleeves and a fluffy white collar, which had his logo stitched on the bottom right-hand corner that Storm had embellished for him. "'Bout time," said a familiar voice rather impatiently. The female was wearing a long-sleeved grey shirt adorned yellow lighting bolts on the sleeves and matching grey jeans. She flicked he short brunette hair out of her eyes and was tapping her foot while Shadow just looked at her as if to say 'What?'. "Hey, you said ten minutes and its only been…" checking his watch "…nine! So stop complaining!"
"And school starts in… what… five minutes… so lets GO!"
"Jeezus! What's the rush, we can be there in 5 seconds,"
At this point, Storm had an irritated look plastered on her face while she watched her brother slip into his signature jet shoes and gloves. "You coming then?" he siad beckoning her to the, now open, front door.
"Hmph…" (Typical: Like brother, like sister ^-^) She walked to the door where Shadow was waiting for her and put on her shoes which were practically identical to her brothers only hers were yellow, white and grey and similar gloves with silver rings around the wrist.
As soon as the duo had stepped out and Storm locked the front door, dark clouds had rolled in and it began to rain. "Oh great! Where the fuck did this come from?" Complained Shadow as he placed his hands above his head in a bid to stop some of the downpour.
"No worries," retorted Storm and with a quick sweep of her hand, the clouds parted and the sun started to shine once again. "Hehe, comes in handy right?"
"Too right, lets go!"
"Last one there does the dishes?" Questioned the female humanoid,
"Same as always" Shadow smirked, "You'd better have your rubber gloves ready!" and he ran off in a blur of black and red.
"HEY NO FAIR!!!" Storm growled and quickly gave chase, leaving a grey and yellow blur in her wake.
They were both heading to the same destination. Mobius High School.
