"Peccadillo"
As I stood in front of that cracked and grimy mirror, my greasy green hair (13$ cheap hair dye, i'd gotten a discount) hung in limp stringy strands about my sloppy white face. The white paint was smearing, and melting away because of my sweat, while the black around my eyes had begun to smudge the surrounding white, a new layer of grey ringing the black.
Peering between those deep chasms in the dirtied glass, I can just piece together a pair of chapped and scarred lips.
With a slight disdain and/or pride, whatever is left in this shell of an ego, and with an accompanying flourish I quickly, yet hastily, (I simply don't have the time) smear the red lipstick (stolen off some cheap hooker, she sure could run in those heels) onto the lips, the scars, and all.
I stand back to admire (?) myself and I am pleased. Content at least.
As I turn to leave, I find tongue raking just past the edge of my lips, tasting the greasy chemicals (a slight hint of cherry? hooker had class.) and have to apply another equally offhanded layer of stolen scarlet.
I was going to toss the tube, but on second thought I pocketed the silver bullet-shape.
Because it was a habit after all, I'd need it later.
