Snow falls
Helena's P.O.V
"Alex? Alex!" I call his name but he is nowhere to be found. "Where is he?" I thought being here in Canada would cheer him up but ever since we got here he seems so lost. I feel raptor nudging my leg. "What is it raptor?" He heads for the door and nods his head for me to follow.
Ten minutes later
Raptor stops and points to a stone path. As I head down it I hear Alex sobbing. When I see him he is kneeling in front of a grave and then I realize we are at his family grave. I run to him wrap my arms around him. "I couldn't save them Helena they died because of me. Trying to protect me." "Alex there was nothing you could do you can't blame yourself for this." "Helena I am probably the most powerful sentinel in the history of the core I have single handedly torn through armies. Every enemy I have fought I've cut, blasted, burned, froze, beaten, zapped, and killed but for all that I couldn't save my family!" I know how he feels but I can't say another word so I just hold him. We stay there for a while. "I'm sorry Helena it's just I miss them so much." "I know Alex but you're not alone not anymore I'll be at your side forever." He turns to face me. "And I wouldn't want anyone else." He pulls me into a kiss. Just as we stop it starts to snow. "Come on let's go home." And just like that we head home the snow falling around us. I know we will have a lot of work to do but whatever we do we will be together forever.
