It is time for the 125th hunger games. In this universe, Katniss was killed during the 3rd quarter quell and Finnick Odair was victorious and the hunger games continued. In the 100th hunger games, Lilac Suede won. Now, the 125th hunger games, the 5th quarter quell, is about to begin.

"On the 125th anniversary," says President Obadiah, "as a reminder to the rebels that they are never safe, anyone in the age range from 5-20 years old is going to be eligible to be reaped. Thank you." There is a gasp from the Capitol crowd and then a bunch of claps and cheers.

"Here is head gamemaster, Teresa Hyden, with a speech regarding this year's arena."

Teresa Hyden walks up. "Hello, citizens of Panem! The arena for the 125th hunger games is going to be very different. It is going to be the most dangerous arena of all time. Think the arena for the 3rd quarter quell was bad? Think again! Thank you!"
