Ashley walked into school wearing light blue jeans, blue t shirt and had her long red hair in a curled ponytail, looking absolutely stunning. She walked to her locker and unpacked her stuff. She was just in time for class, but as she walked in, her heart shattered and everything felt like a gray nightmare. There she saw the man of her dreams with the biggest slut in school Maria. The entire school knew that Ashley liked John a lot and fell silent as she walked in and sat down. John walked in with Maria and took a seat in the back. Eve and Mickie looked over at Ashley and felt extremely bad for her. Ashley mouthed, "Its' okay." John's friends could not believe he would do something like this. John plugged in his headphones to his IPod to completely zone out from the world.
Ashley, even though completely heartbroken, stayed strong. She was assigned a group project with John and Maria so she sat with them and began to work. Maria obnoxiously pulled out John's headphones. John looked at Maria with a 'what the hell was that for?' look. The only reason John was even with her was because Maria and her friends gave him no other alternative choice. He knew would have no friends left after he'd done it. He wasn't sure of anything at the moment. He didn't know what 'love' even meant when Maria says it a million times to him. Ashley looked at them and just decided to keep working on her part of the project. "You're ugly as fuck," Maria said to her. "You know you could at least be a little nice to people sometimes instead of a cold-hearten bitch," John said to Maria with some authority.
"Stay out of this!" she said. Ashley just looked at her. "You know Maria, your right. I'm not the most attractive person in the world…but neither are you. Your definition of someone being beautiful is a person you are far from. And unlike you I wouldn't force someone to be in a relationship with me because I can get guys to like me by getting to know them not by looking like a slut and opening my legs like Wal-Marts 24 hour automatic doors." John tried to hold back from laughing because he knew Ashley was absolutely right. Ashley then added, "You're just easy."
Next month, it was prom night. Ashley was getting ready and she was very excited. She arrived at the dance and couldn't wait to see everyone's faces. John stood by the doors with his newfound best friend Justin watching as everyone came in.
