It was a normal day at the Enjaku Detective Agency. Yamino was waiting for his new, yet useless piece of mail order. Fenrir was eating a piece of vanilla cake with Ecchan. Mayura hadn't come for three weeks. But that changed today.
"Hey Loki," Mayura said cheerfully.
"Hi," Loki said calmly.
"Would you like some cake and tea?" Yamino asked.
"Caaaaake? Sure I'd Love some!" smiled Mayura.
" Certainly." Yamino said.
Yamino left the room.
"Hey Loki guess what?"
"What?"
" I got a new boyfriend! It's KOTARO!"
" Kotaro's Mayura's new boyfriend? What the HELL?" Loki thought.
"Hey Loki, can we turn on the TV?"
"Yea sure. Whatevs."
"Kayy."
Mayura turned on the TV. She flips the channels until the 'Kira' case came on.
"Let's turn to Kanoko Miyazaki-Thomas for the story," the anchor said.
"We are here at the Tokyo Bank Institute where a bank robber had just suffered a heart attack. We don't know anymore details than that. For now, Kanoko Miyazaki-Thomas."
"Who's 'Kira?'" Loki asked
"WHAT? You haven't heard? 'kira' is the new serial killer that can kill people without lifting a finger. He's the new Jack the Ripper."
"Ahh… I'll go investigate."
"NO! I'm going to come investigate with you. Besides, out of curiosity, do you know 'L?'" Mayura asked
"Who is 'L' and what does that person do?"
"L is the best detective in the world. He managed to solve every single case he was assigned to."
"Now I remember who that is. He was a former accomplice of mine." Loki thought. "I should pay Ryuuzaki a visit."
"Uhh? Loki? EARTH TO LOKI?"
"Oh.. Uh.. Sorry. I uh.. never mind. Mayura, can you please leave?"
"fine. Even though I want to come. Fine.."
After Mayura left, Loki left right after with Yamino.
"Hey Yamino, You know that 'L' guy Mayura was talking about, he was a former accomplice of mine."
"Really Master Loki?"
"Yea. Let's go pay him a visit."
