Young man sat in hospital hallway. His white eyes stared at the door in front of him. To the door which behind his wife just gave birth to their first child.
He heard few screams sometimes, but except those, hallway was all silent. Man waited already for third hour.
After hour, the red light over the door switched off. Man raised his head. He heard quiet crying behind the door. Soon door opened, and doctor came out, after him his assistants. One of them came to man.
"Congratulations, Hyuga-sama", nurse said. "You got a son. You can now go to see your wife."
Man nodded, got up and walked inside to room.
Woman sat on bed with baby. She turned her head when she heard door open.
"Oh, Neji", she said. Her voice was bit tired. "Come to look. Isn't he cute!?"
Neji walked next to bed.
"Yeah, he looks like you, so it's obvious, Tenten", he said and gave her peck on cheek.
Tenten smiled.
"Well, doesn't matter if you look like me, as long as you have your daddy's heart", she said to boy. Neji smiled.
"Wanna hold him?"
"Eh? Me? What if I drop him?"
"Ow, you won't. Just, keep him like this", Tenten said as she places baby in Neji's hands.
Baby has stopped crying. Now he slept calmly in his father's hands (a/n: as if he knew that…).
Neji next to Tenten, who placed her chin on his shoulder.
"What shall we call him?" she asked.
"Hm? I don't know, you decide", Neji said. Tenten thought.
"How about… Ren."
"Ren?"
"Yeah. It has 'e' as second letter, like both of us have. And it's bit Chinese-like, like mine."
Neji thought about it.
"Hyuga Ren… sounds good. Then will he be Ren," he said.
Tenten gave a kiss on his cheek and stroked Ren's head. Suddenly they heard fast steps from hallway. And after few seconds Rock Lee and Maito Gai flew from the door.
"We… just heard…!" Lee said. "That… it… has… born."
"So we… rushed here…in the name.. of youth!" Gai panted.
Unfortunately their "rush in the name of youth" had woken Ren, who was now crying. Tenten took him from Neji and hushed little.
"There, there, it's alright, Ren, it was just your two uncles."
Lee and Gai got their breaths back, and walked to look this new child. Ren already clamed.
"Aww, he's so cute", Lee said. "Ren, eh? Hiya, Ren! I am Lee!"
Suddenly Ren started to cry again. Lee stepped back for a bit.
"What did I do?"
Neji threw him a glare.
"Well, well, are we hungry?" Tenten asked from baby. Same time nurse came to room.
She asked Lee and Gai to leave so Tenten could feed her son. Two of them left, and Neji also turned to leave when he felt someone grapping his shirt.
"You can stay if you want", Tenten said. Neji turned to her and smiled. He sat to chair next to bed.
