At Jess's house (flat- alone)
W.P.C (Women Police Constable) Jess: What's that noise?
No answer but we hear footsteps.
W.P.C Jess: Who's out there?
We hear loud noises and we see Gabriel sneaking into Jess's house. He has a sneaky expression. He looks like he has an evil plan.
Sure enough he heads for the power board and turns off the lights.
Jess reaches for her baton but Gabriel grabs her and puts his hand over her mouth and says "Don't say anything or you'll never see your Smithy again."
W.P.C Jess: She whimpers because she couldn't bear not to see Smithy again.
Gabriel throws Jess into his car and drives her to an abandoned basement and Jess gets thrown against a wall and Gabriel leaves.
Jess: Stares at the moon and whispers Smithy…till we meet again Cries in a corner
Next day At the Station
Smithy: is concerned Jess is usually here by now. I wonder where she is, she's always on time. I'm sure something is wrong.
But Gina says to him "You must finish your paper work before refs."
Smithy: It's not fair she could be in danger.
Gina: Straight after Refs you can go and search.
Smithy shakes his head and walks off.
After Refs he goes and searches Jess's place and finds blood but no Jess. He sees Gabriel's badge on the ground. Smithy calls Gina to say Gabriel has been in Jess's house. Gina becomes worry and organizes a full scale search and issues an A.P.B for Gabriel's car.
Gina insists Smithy to return to the station because he is too personally involved. He says it's not fair, she's my girlfriend. Gina says that's exactly why you have to return.
Smithy begins his journey back to the station very slowly on the lookout for Jess or Gabriel.
He sees Gabriel's car outside an abandoned warehouse. Against Gina's orders he crashes down the door and shoots Gabriel. Jess comes running into his arms deeply distressed. Smithy and Jess then kiss.
Gabriel dies in the ambulance and Smithy is put onto desk duty for disobeying orders.
