Evaporating Water
She was Air and Fire; yet she was Water; the phoenix, the fish, and the eagle; wild and calm; hot and cold.
She was a waterbender, like her grandmother; but her mother and father were Fire and Air.
Airui was a plesant girl; she practiced her waterbending; Air made her bending playful, like a gymnast's.
The children teased her; her dark skin and gold eyes were easy to spot amongst the paler Nomads.
One day, she met Rei, an outcast like her; Rui was an Earthbender, like her mother, but her father was a Firebender; Rei was Burning Earth.
She and Rei played together, laughing and talking like children should.
A year later, Rei was moving back to the Earth Kingdom; the revolt her parents were escaping was over.
Airo begged her mother to let her go; her mother refused; why did she need to leave her family?
So that night, Airui ran away, following Rei's family.
Finally, they arrived in the Kingdom; imagine the surpise and delight on Rei's face when she saw her friend.
It was the Fire in Airui; the determination to follow her friend.
Being the incarnation of Fire, Air, and Water was very hard; but it was also very wonderful.
