Jack Bauer sat alone, as the rain covered his car like a blanket. He had sat parked on the corner of Roseridge Avenue and Willow Street for about an hour. It was about nine o'clock in the evening. Only hours before, a strange man had contacted him on his cell phone telling him to meet him there if he wanted to see the city of Los Angeles exist for another day. Jack had acted alone, not informing CTU of the possible threat. He wanted to make sure it wasn't just a false alarm, before sending the city into an evacuation process. He also knew he should act alone. Seeing SWAT teams would probably make the stranger do something he didn't want to do. Jack's thoughts were interupted by his cell phone. He quickly picked it up

"This is Bauer." He answered. His voice was gruff, giving off an "I'm in charge" sort of tone. The voice on the other end chuckled. His voice was eerie,

"Hello, Bauer. Nice to see you've followed my directions." Jack rolled his eyes,

" Let's just get down to business. Why did you want to meet me here? Where are you?" Jack became increasingly frustrated as the voice on the other end began to laugh again,

"Woah, Woah, Woah! So many questions. Jack, do you honestly think I would be stupid enough to show myself to you! Wow, way to underestimate someone!" Jack inhaled deeply,

" Why do you want me here?" The voice on the other end was silent for a moment, but then he answered,

"Jack. I need your help. I need you to get something for me." The voice was almost pleading with him. Jack cleared his throat,

"What do you need me to get you?" The voiced scoffed,

" Not what can you get for me, WHO can you get for me!" Jack immediately tensed,

" You want me to kidnap someone?" The voice was clear,

"Yes, and if you don't…" Jack interrupted the man before he could finish,

"You'll attack Los Angeles." The man sarcastically replied,

" Precisely. Jack look out your window. Directly across from your car should be a large house. 2 Willow Street." Jack grunted to signify that he saw it. The man continued,

" There is currently one person in that house. I want you to bring her to 127 Vineland. If she isn't there in two hours… well, you know what will happen." The man laughed his disturbing laugh once more before saying,

"Jack, I want you to bring me Abigail Dessler."

This is just the prologue. Sorry if it totally stinks!
