Blair looked around herself and felt the butterflies in her stomach. She glanced sideways at her
friend Jo and saw that Jo was grinning happily. "We finally made it Jo." She said in an chipper
voice that she had perfected by the time she was two years old.
"Ya. College. I'm the first one in my family to attended." Jo wanted to do an happy dance on the
Langley ground but she didn't want to draw any more attention to herself in this richly school.
*Won't be the first time. When I first arrived at Eastland I drove my motorcycle over Mrs. G.'s
flower garden.* Jo looked back wards toward the parking lot and saw all the BMV's; Jaguars;
Merchandise in there. *This is way out of my league. Even more than Eastland was.*
Blair knew Jo was thinking about. *Money. Always Money.* Blair herself tired to help Jo out
with the money problem but Jo always fights her on it. *Sometimes Jo sees reason and allows me
to help her but not often. What's money for expect to spend it.* That was Blair's way of thinking
and nothing will ever change that. "So ready to start this new area in our lives?"
"Ya bet!" Jo sounded so sure of herself. She never likes anyone to know that she was scared stiff
even the people closest to her. Her mother; father; Mrs. Garrett, Blair, Natalie, Tootie. It takes an
lot of time and talking to get Jo to admit that one flaw; at least to her; to anyone.
The two girls and friends walked up the steps and into Langley halls. Not knowing what to expect but excited about the new adventures of College Life.
