Chapter 1: Hiei' s surprise present, the new girl.
It was early morning and a girl named Kaiko was walking her stubborn boyfriend to school. "I don't want to! Why do I have to? It's too boring!" Yuske complained. "Because it's very educational and you've missed it for weeks!" Kaiko countered, "Besides we're having a new student and I volunteered to give her a tour for these last few months." "Damn girls..." Yuske said, as he got dragged to school by the one he'd risk his life to protect, 'She needs protecting? My ass... ' Yuske thought. The school bell rang 10 minutes after the two reached the school. "I am you substitute, Mrs. Vu, replacing your current teacher for the year," Everyone cheered, "And we have a new student, Higurashi Kagome." All the boys cheered when she entered the room, the girls glared at her as a new rival.
"Please introduce yourself." "Hi my name is Kagome Higurashi and I live in a shrine. I am 15 years old and I'm happy to be here." "We're happy you're here too!" some boy yelled from the back of the room. "Can you tell us about your family members?" Mrs. Vu asked glaring at the boy who called out. "I live with my mother, grandpa, my little brother Souta, and my cat Buyo. We are the last members of our family besides my half brother and his sister whom I've never met." "Do you know the names of your missing family members?" "Yes, Hiei and Yukina." "WHAT!?" Yuske and Kaiko asked loudly, jumping out of their seats. "Is there something the matter?" "No." the two said quickly. "Yukina what a lovely name..." Mrs. Vu whispered. "You may take a seat next to Yuske and Kaiko, I do believe she is to give you a school tour." Then the class started.
"This is the cafeteria..." Kaiko continued. 'This boy has strangely strong energy surrounding him.' Kagome thought. Suddenly she noticed a dark energy in the tree nearby. She glared at it and noticed that the boy had also sensed it but didn't care. Kagome glanced at it again and listened to Kaiko again.
Hiei was in the tree surprised the girl knew he was there. "Surprising is it not?" A red haired boy asked from the bottom of the tree. (A/N Wonder who it is.) "Hn. It does not matter Kurama." "Hiei she says you're her half brother." "Impossible." With that Hiei disappeared. "Hiei...we'll find out." Kurama whispered.
I know short huh? But I meant for the first chapter to be like this. Heh it's a lot to do in one day. * dodges banana * Hey watch where your throwing stuff! * dodges daggers * I might stop doing stories. Well anyways review! ^.^
