Callies POV
I walked out of dark grey bars that had held me captive for months into the insane heat of Sunny California. The sea breeze, brushed the edges of my purple wounded face, stinging as it passed.
I heard a voice yell from across the worn out car park.
"Callie! Callie? Is that you?"
I dropped my small bag of belongings onto the dirty pavement and hurried over to Jude.
"Jude! I'm sorry I left you, no little brother should have to go through what you did for his older sister!"
"It's nothing I'm just glad you can now live like a normal 16 year old"
Jude's voice was rough and scratchy, I hadn't heard it in so long it almost sounded unfamiliar...
