Well, as you know, at the end of the movie, Ralphie is taken away by Linoge to raise as his own. 10 years later, his father sees him by chance on a busy street, and Ralphie has become like Linoge. And I always thought it'd be interesting to see what happens next! So, without further ado - here it is!
Storm of the Century: Ralphie's ReturnNearly 20 years had passed since those terrible events on Little Tall Island. The deaths of the islanders, and the "disappearance" of little Ralphie Anderson had almost been forgotten.. Island folk know how to keep secrets.
Those brave enough to talk about the events of the Storm of the Century have theories of their own. In hushed whispers in dimly lit barrooms, the motivations of Andre Linoge are discussed. Some say he was the devil. Others say he was an avenging angel, come to purge the sinners of Little Tall, and teach the rest a lesson they'd not forget.
NEW YORK CITY
In the diverse pool of humanity flowing to and fro down main street, no one noticed the old frail man with the dog's head cane, walking side by side with his handsome, dark-haired son. But they sure noticed when a speeding taxi mowed him down, splattering him across the crosswalk.
"Father!" cried the young man. How could this have happened, he thought? But the old man, Linoge, was not a god, or one of the immortals. Maybe, the young man thought, it was just his time. And then another thought consumed his mind:
"I'm free!" he yelled, and darted away down the street, leaving the remains of his father behind. When the attentions of the bystanders turned back to the old man's body, they were astonished. Only a skeleton remained.
Meanwhile, the young man continued his sprint down the crowded street. After a moment, he ducked into a dark alley. When he determined no one was around, he levitated quickly into the sky, like a bird. At 10,000 feet, he started his journey to Little Tall. He was going to return to the town of his birth, and get revenge upon the villages who had abandoned him to Linoge. And his vengeance was going to be sweet, brutal, and bloody. The kind of people who would abandon an innocent child to a murderous wizard/demon deserved the worst of deaths - deaths Linoge had spent nearly 20 years training him to provide.
