It's a long time since my last story, I'm sorry. But here it is. I hope you enjoy it.
The snow fell smoothly to the ground. It was cold but that didn't matter to Russia. He sat on a bench on the top of a little hill and looked absentminded over the white landscape.
"Hey, what are ya doing here? It's freezing." Prussia stepped behind Russia and looked in the same direction as he did. But he spotted nothing special. Well there was nothing but snow, snow, a dead tree, snow and did he mention snow?
"Earth to Russia, is someone in that icy head?" He slightly touched Russia's shoulder. The tall man looked up, startled.
"Pr-Prussia, what are you doing here?"
"Not fair, I asked first."
Russia blinked. "I sit on a bench, da?"
"Ja, schon klar... I mean, why are you sitting here in the first place?"
"I..." Russia looked away. "I dreamed."
"You dreamed. Okay, maybe I'll regret that question. What had you dreamed about?"
The Russian kept quiet. After several moments he finally answered. "Sunflowers."
"Sunflowers? What..."
"A field of sunflowers on a warm sunny day. And everybody would be happy together and we'd eat cake and drink tea."
Prussia looked at Russia. "And no 'become one with Russia'?"
"Niet." He smiled at Prussia. "I just want everybody to be happy and be friends with me, da?"
Prussia sighed. "You're an unreadable book."
The snow became heavier. "Russia, I think we should go home."
"Home?" Prussia's cheeks got a slightly red colour. But if you had asked him he would say that it was just caused by the cold wind. Russia stood up and walked next to Prussia. "What do you mean 'home'?"
"Ugh... Home, ya know, that building with a fireplace, a bed and so on."
Russia began to walk when Prussia told him to wait. When he was next to the Russian he undid an umbrella.
Together they walked under a sunflower, the frigid cold outpacing.
Well, the story was in my mind since when I saw an umbrella with a sunflower printed on it. It just screamed 'Russia! Sunflower umbrella and Russia!' And that is the outcome... I hope to write some more, but my time is now limited to the weekends and vacations T.T But I'll do my best^^ Oh, and if you find some mistakes please write me so I can improve my English.
