CRAZIER

I never gone with the wind

Just let it flow

Let it take me where it wants to go

And I wanted to know

How that would feel

And you made it so real

Annabeth smiled up at the cloudy Valentine's Day sky. This used to be her most-hated day of the year, no thanks to Luke. But now? Now she loved it. Thanks to Percy.

He'd shown her. . . something. She wasn't sure what it was, but once she met him... everything started falling into place. They fell together. And there was just something about his carefree, happy personality that drew her to him.

I was trying to fly

But I couldn't find my wings

Till you came along and you changed everything

Someone came up behind Annabeth and wrapped their hands around her waist. Annabeth fell back into Percy's arms.

"Dance with me," he said.

Annabeth frowned. "No music," she replied.

"We don't need it," he whispered. THIS was what Annabeth loved about Percy. He wasn't overly practical, like her, he could see the magic in the world... he could show it to her.

You lift my feet off the ground

You spin me around

You make me crazier, crazier

Feels like I'm falling and I

Get lost in your eyes

You make me crazier. Crazier, crazier...

Percy took her hand and pulled her up, gently twirling her along the beach. Annabeth stared into his perfect green eyes. She never failed to get lost in those eyes; never failed to get lost in his own personal sea.

Percy. Her best friend, her brother, practically, her lover, her safehold, her magic, her everything. He showed her how to see life differently, he let her ramble on about boring stuff, he actually CARED.

Whenever Annabeth needed someone to pull her back to her feet, she went to Percy.

I watched from a distance as you

Made life your own

Every sky was your own kind of blue

And I wanted to know

How that would feel

And you made it so real

Percy never failed to take her breath away. He saw everything like a small miracle. He was grateful for what he had. He could see the beauty in the small things, like the clouds, the sea, the grass.

Annabeth had never been able to see the beauty.

Not until she met Percy.

You showed me something that I couldn't see

You opened my eyes and you made me believe

You take my feet off the ground,

You spin me around

You make me crazier, crazier

Feels like I'm falling and I

Get lost in your eyes

You make me crazier, crazier, crazier, oh...

And there, dancing with Percy alone, music-less on the Camp Half Blood beach, Annabeth realized something. Luke may have been brave, and bold, and daring, and witty, but he couldn't see the beauty either.

And Annabeth needed someone to show her beauty. To make her appreciate it.

And that's how Annabeth knew, then and there, that Percy would make her happier than Luke ever could have.

Maybe you showed me what living is for

I don't want to hide anymore

Five years later. A thousand deaths later. A million centuries later.

At the very end of eternity.

Annabeth and Percy. Percy and Annabeth.

Together.

Just how they were meant to be.

You make me crazier...
