A/n: I'm back! This time with a story about Tei! Enjoy!

Something Different

The sliver haired Utau sighed and buried her face into her hands. It was hopeless, she would never get Len to like her. She tried everything, kidnapping, threatening, seducing, nothing worked. Besides, Tei knew for a fact that Len was going out with that red headed girl, Miki. They seemed very happy together. Miki was kind, considerate, totally cute and not a sociopath. In a word, she was perfect for Len. Tei had officially given up.

"Who cares anyway?" Tei had thought. All the Vocaloid were scum anyway, she hated them. Especially Miku, Tei knew under that sugary sweet façade was a shallow fake who only cared for herself, Tei's fists clenched just thinking about that twin tailed demon she really wanted to kill that brat. At least Len wasn't dating her, Tei would have to throw herself off the nearest building if that was the case.

The heartbroken girl decided to stop feeling sorry herself and go visit Ritsu and Momo, those two always knew how to make her feel better, they were her best friends after all. Ritsu and Momo accepted Tei for who she was.

Just as she expected, Momo and Ritsu were waiting for her. Momo had prepared hot cocoa with extra large marshmallows, the trio's favorite drink. Tei was caught off guard by a glomp from Ritsu, Momo gave her usual friendly way. When Tei could properly breathe again, she took a seat.

"Tei-chan!" Ritsu cried. "We heard about Len, "we are so sorry!"

Tei said it was no big deal, but that was a lie and she knew it.

After that, the trio stayed up all talking. They talked about many different things ranging from happy to sad. Ritsu confided in the girls about his secret crush on Mikuo, Momo talked about she recently got into yuri manga, then Ritsu and Momo argued about which was better. Ritsu argued that yaoi was better because it was hotter, Momo argued that yuri was better because the romance was sweeter and she said yaoi was too clichéd. Tei tried to stay neutral on the debate, but like always she was pulled into the argument.

All the while, she was still pining over Len.

Who could replace her adorable little Lennykins?

Tei snapped out of it when she heard Ritsu whining about Mikuo and how he was dating Teto, again.

Later, when Ritsu had fallen asleep, Tei was surprised to hear Momo say she thought Len was a fool and that anyone in the world would be lucky to have Tei. Tei noticed that the maid had a light pink blush when saying this. She looked utterly adorable.

That's when Tei really looked at Momo. Tei realized that Momo was hot. She was the definition of "moe." She wasn't Len, she was Momo, Tei's Momo, she was perfect. Tei gave a Momo a kiss on the cheek and wrapped her arms around her.

Tei had found her new obsession. Time to break out the cucumbers.
