"You could go for the really corny. You know, try stuff like 'apple of my eye'. It's not as bad as your other ones," Neal suggested to the tall redhead. He blushed and shook his head.

"No, this is serious. I have to be really creative. She's not going to fall in love with me if I say stupid stuff like that," he snapped. Owen snorted and looked at the squire.

"She's not going to fall in love with you if you say any of this stupid stuff. Why are you even doing this? She's one of us, not just some girl," he said. Cleon shook his head in exasperation.

"I know she's not just some girl! She's Kel. She's strong, and…beautiful, and clever, and funny…and, Mithros, she's amazing!" Roald smiled.

"Perhaps the way to a girl's heart, especially a girl like Kel, is not through…ridiculous lines," he said quietly.

"I would never call a girl any of the things you call Kel," Merric said.

"Oh, Kel! Pearl of my heart!" Neal said, standing and waving an arm dramatically.

"Kel, my rose, my pearl!" Owen quoted. Cleon glared at the two but they just laughed.

"Light of my heart, flower of my soul!" Merric teased.

"She's a tall, glorious sunrise of a girl!" Seaver said, grinning. Cleon threw his hands in the air, exasperated.

"The light in your eyes could light up the darkest of rooms!" Prosper exclaimed.

"Tease me as you wish, but she is helpless when it comes to my way with words!" Cleon said, glaring at the group of boys.

"What exactly is going on here?" They jumped and turned, Cleon immediately blushing when they saw Kel standing in the doorway. Owen grinned and flew to the floor in one fluid motion, immediately at her feet.

"I love you, Lady Page!" he said. She snorted and Neal followed Owen' example, mercilessly pushing him out of the way.

"I love you more, Keladry of Mindelan!" Merric followed suit, jumping in front of Neal.

"I love you like the sun loves the sky! You are my sunshine!" he exclaimed. Kel raised an eyebrow appraisingly and stared at the boys. Swiftly she shot out a leg and knocked them all to their bottoms.

"You're absurd. Now get to work. You all have mathematics that needs some serious examination." Cleon grinned and looked at the pile of boys before flashing her his best smile.

"As you say, Kel, light of my life," he teased before dropping to the chair beside him and bending over the books laid before him.

A/N Okeydokes, I know it's short, but that's just how I do things whenever I get bored. I right cute little one-shots to throw away time and make me laugh. I absolutely love Kel and Cleon together, even if they could never stay together. *sad face* Well, I hope you liked it Thanks for reading! …And reviewing? Please? Only if you want to!
