The Day Boy & The Night Girl

A male Espeon who has never seen the moon, named Photogen, meets a female Umbreon named Nycteris, who has never seen the sun. They must escape the witch Watho, the Mismagius, who kept them separated since their birth. This fairy tale by George McDonald has many layers of meaning that go deeper than the story of the surface.

There once was a Ghost type Pokémon who desired to know everything. But the wiser she became, the more she began to hit her head against the wall and was use to it. The Pokémon was a witch named Watho and she had a Mightyena in her mind. She cared for nothing for she was not naturally cruel but the Mightyena made her cruel.

Watho was tall and graceful, with purple skin, purple hair, and red eyes with fire in them. She was straight and strong, but now and then become weak, shudder and sit a moment with her head turned over her shoulder. As if the Mightyena had been released from her mind and now resides on her back.
