A/N: Okay, everyone says this. "I don't own Harry Potter." I don't get the point of saying that, considering that this is for a reason. Anyways, this is my first oneshot, so please review!

The sunlight filtered beautifully through the trees, pooling on the grave at the top of the hill and the blonde man sitting beside it. His head was bowed over an old book, tears coursing down his cheeks. Underneath his dark clothes, he was too thin. Face gaunt and tired, he carried sorrow on his stooped shoulders.
Tears filled his gray eyes, blurring the words that he knew by heart. He'd come to this spot every day since her death three years ago. Inwardly, he couldn't believe it had only been that long. To him, every day without her was an eternity. In the days before her death, neither of them could have imagined life without each other. They were one heart, one soul- and then it was split in two.
And so he came to her final resting place, and sat under the shelter of the willow that his love had planted with her own hands. He told her of his misery at her loss, poured out his heart and feelings to her in a way he was unable to do when she was alive. He read books to her he knew were her favorites, described the beauty of a sunset she'd never be able to see. When the time came, he would be buried beside her.
He longed for that day to come, when they might be reunited in the next world. It was torture to wake up without her beside him, to go through the day knowing he would never see her again.
Voice choked with emotion, Draco kneeled on the grave of his love and kissed the ground in front of her tombstone as he recited the last lines of the poem he knew was her favorite.
"I love thee with the
breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I
shall but love thee better after death."
And that night, like every night since her death, he fells asleep with her name on his lips.
"Hermione."
