My heart
Unsure of what to do
I say I hate you
But do I really do?
The look on your face wasn't priceless
It broke my heart shattering it into a tiny million pieces
Did I do what is right?
We both complete each other
As life has never been so good to us
As we try to dig ourselves out of our bottomless pit trap hole
We are both afraid of giving our fragile hearts away
Only to have them return to us in a mangled wounded state
But two fragile yet tortured souls unsure of what to do
They say they hate each other but do they really do
Their tortured yet heavy hearts flopping about
They still are very much in love
Their special connection is still there
They know it's their but can they overcome the giant gap
And claim what's rightfully theirs
