A/N: So, I was watching some G1 cartoon when I realized something, the stoic, threatening, logic above all else Shockwave was not a thing of the G1 cartoon, rather the Marvel comics. The cartoon Shockwave was an overbearing, overly loyal, clumsy, bumbling cyclops! No wonder Megatron left him behind. I found the idea quite humorous and decided to take a look at the many reports Shockwave probably made over the span of the cartoon. Hopefully you find them funny.
Report One: The Breach
"Come in Megatron!" Megatron heard the Decepticon command console speaker say, a voice Megatron secretly hated hearing, Shockwave's.
"What is it, Shockwave?" Megatron asked, turning on the screen monitor to speak with Shockwave. He saw Shockwave standing there, he seemed like he had just gotten out of a rough tangle with someone or something, not to mention from what Megatron could see that the command center was trashed as well.
"There has been a break-in on Cybertron, the Autobots have-" Shockwave began before Megatron cut him off.
"The AUTOBOTS!?" Megatron exclaimed. "Which Autobots, pray tell?"
"The yellow one, I believe his name was Bumblebee." Shockwave explained. Bumblebee? Megatron knew Bumblebee, he was Optimus Prime's scout! A small and truthfully pathetic Autobot, always hanging out with that stupid human.
"Bumblebee!?" Megatron remarked. "All of this damage was caused by Bumblebee!?"
"Well... he wasn't alone." Shockwave stated.
"Who else was there?" Megatron asked.
"Well, that flesh creature-" Shockwave began.
"The flesh creature!?" Megatron exclaimed. "The flesh creature!?"
"To be fair, Megatron," Shockwave attempted explaining himself.
"No no, to be fair, you got your skidplate handed to you by a scout and a fleshling!" Megatron hollered. "Now how do you think that sounds?"
"Not good, lord Megatron." Shockwave admitted.
"You're correct, Shockwave. It does not sound good." Megatron stated. "Now, explain yourself."
"Explain?" Shockwave asked.
"Yes, why did you let Bumblebee and the human cause such damage?" Megatron asked.
"Oh... well, the damage to the command center was mostly me." Shockwave admitted.
"WHAT!?" Megatron bellowed.
"Well... my depth perception isn't that good, on account of my one optic." Shockwave explained.
"Vector Sigma..." Megatron sighed. Just then, more noise came from Shockwave's end, it sounded like laserfire, he saw Bumblebee and Spike run across the room, firing at Shockwave.
"I will have to call you back Megatron!" Shockwave exclaimed, hanging up the command console.
"Please don't." Megatron grumbled. "I should have left Starscream, at least he knows how to pin down an Autobot." He grumbled. "Soundwave, I am leaving you on console watch for the next cycle, that conversation exhausted my processor..." He sighed, heading to his chambers to recharge.
