For the Snakes and Ladders challenge.

"Maman, they want me at 'ogwarts!" Gabrielle said.

"What are you talking about?"

Gabrielle handed her the parchment she'd just taken from an unfamiliar owl. "Look, maman!"

Her mother took the parchment from her daughter, a short note in slanted cursive and rudimentary French. "Dearest Delacour family," she read aloud, "We are very pleased with Fleur's work so far in the Triwizard tournament. She is making Beauxbatons proud. As I am sure you know from Fleur, the second task is soon approaching, and we request Gabrielle's presence for it. Of course, Mssr. and Madame Delacour, you are welcome to accompany her. Please respond by owl post as soon as possible, and we look forward to your arrival. Albus Dumbledore."

"Well, Gabrielle, what do you say?"

"I miss Fleur," she said sincerely, tucking a strand of long silvery hair behind her ear. "I would love to see her, and see Hogwarts in person. Fleur says it is nothing like Beauxbatons, but I would like to see it."

"Very well. We still have a few days, but we will leave for 'ogwarts soon dear," she said, and leaned down to kiss her daughter's forehead.
