"Edward?"

He heard her calling.

"Edward, you in your room?"

He heard her footsteps coming down the hallway towards his room. Almost at a jog.

"Edward!" she sang.

Run, run, he kept telling himself. No no, stay and put up with her...

No no -- RUN!

He bolted for the window.

He could hear her calling him from up in his room, where he had narrowly escaped just moments before, and he ran for the trees.

It wasn't that he didn't love her exactly… Just that…

She STALKED him.

Yes, stalked was the right word.

Everywhere he goes, she goes. Every second they weren't together, she was calling him.

It got old.

Not that he had a problem with spending time with her, but he had a problem with her constant need to be with him. Every time he went away for the little amount of time, it was "Oh, Edward, I missed you!" and "Oh, Edward, you were gone for so long!"

Even if it was just the little time between classes.

She was insane.

He had a stalker.

Everywhere he went, she was there.

Sometimes he even questioned if she was already a vampire, the way she appeared everywhere he went so quickly.

But this stalker wasn't anything bad.

She was just obsessively in live with him.

He sighed, and ran back to his house, her waiting there.

"Edward, I missed you!"

It had only been three hours.
