The moon was shining brightly as Jay s wolf ran through the dark forest. She smelt a rose and vanilla scent towards the blue lake ahead and she howled at the moon calling the other wolves of her pack. Thundering paws were heard against the dark forest floor as they heard the alpha call. Jay stopped at the edge growling at the shadows in the tress, which were hissing at her. The other members of the pack snarled at the hissing figures as
they began to disappear from the trees.
She and her pack linked minds telling each other to check the perimeter again in case of danger. Jay and her beta s, Miles and Jake, stayed in the middle of the forest opening looking at the lake, but what Jay didn t understand was where that smell was coming from. Jake nudged his sister with his nose telling her that everything was clear and Jay nodded tackling miles catching him off guard. All of the wolves played until it was time to head home for school in the morning. As they were going out of the clearing heading home Jay smelt the scent again this time closer than before.
All of the wolves were exhausted and hungry as they got to the pack house. Jake, Miles and the other two boys Tyler and Chris, including Maria who was Jay s second in command, all piled into the kitchen eating every and anything they could find. Jay went to her room still in wolf form whimpering and missing the rose and vanilla scent. Eventually she turned to her human form with her fallen wings sticking out of her back, which had a dark red aura around them as they were flapping. She looked in the mirror wondering why she could not love anymore. She felt lost in the world but soon enough it will change for the better of it and like her father always told her Not everything is what it seems. You will learn and that will be the day you will see. Since then she has followed her none love morals but now she is about to face the ultimate challenge. Will she accept it or will she deny it?
As Jay and her pack walked in school everyone split into two sides of the hallway letting them walk through the middle. Jake whispered something into Jay s ear making her smirk as she left them and went to her class and sat down in the back of the room laying her head down on the desk. Her teacher Mrs. Black came in the classroom and sat down at her desk, putting her stuff down, and looked at Jay nodding her head to tell her she was excused from working today. Everyone else piled in the room and she smelt that scent she missed so dearly. She looked towards the front of the room to see someone she never saw before and Mrs. Black noticed. Okay students quiet down I have an announcement to make. Mrs. Black said and everyone turned towards the front of the room to hear what she had to say. This is Patrick Whit he is a new student here at Wolf High school. He has just moved here from sterling Illinois due to his mother Carrie Whit being our new history teacher and writing our literature book we are using this year. I m going to let Patrick here tell you about himself. Mrs. Black said and he cleared his throat smirking at someone behind Jay. Sup, My names Patrick or Pat for short. I m sixteen years old and single. I don t like girls all over me and I love rock music and anything of that genre. I hate girly girls and my best-friend is behind the girl with the black and blue hair in the back of the room. He said and everyone looked at Jay and behind her sat Carlos Collins, he s a six foot four skinny guy who wears hoodies all of the time with vans and chucks and beanies. Well well well I see Carly boy has a friend who isn t a girl what a surprise. Jay said in her southern accent and Carlos smacked her in the head and she laughed. Oh hush it mate before I slap you again eh. I have many guy friends lad so shut ya trap. He said in his deep England accent and Pat shook his head at them and walked to the back of the room sitting next to Jay as Mrs. Black started her lesson for the day.
Jay began listening as Mrs. Black continued talking about wolves and their history. Sooo I hear someone has a crush on me. Carlos said and Maria and Jay laughed as he looked at Jay smirking and Pat looked at them smiling. Maria get your boy before he gets slapped on the head again. Jay said and she snorted and hit Carlos telling him to shut up. Pat looked at Jay wondering if she knew his secret by now but he didn t need to worry about that so he continued thinking about his beloved blue Jay.
As Jay was listening to Maria and Carlos argue over what type of wolf goes in each category a balled up piece of paper hit her in her head. She opened it and it said EMO FREAK, YOU DON T BELONG HERE! THAT S WHY YOU KILLED YOUR MOTHER AND FATHER! YOU RE A DISGRACE TO OUR KIND! Jay starts to cry and gets up and runs out the class room down the hallway leaving everyone puzzled on what happened. Maria saw a piece of paper and sighed as she got up grabbing their stuff and ran after her leaving Pat and Carlos at the table wondering what was going on. Carlos pointed to the note and Pat picked it up and read it. He became furious and crumpled up the note growling very loudly. WHO WROTE THIS NOTE?! He yelled, while his voice echoed throughout the room, and the slut of the school Laura Drake raised her hand smirking at him. I sent that note she doesn t belong here. She should ve died along with her family. She said sneering and touched his arm but he didn t find that funny and he took her hand off of him and picked her up by her neck and growled in her ear making her whimper. If I ever hear you say one more word about my baby I swear you will regret living do I make myself clear?! he yelled in her face while she nodded and everyone was as silent as night. Carlos told him to grab his stuff so they could go check up on them and he nodded and dropped Laura to the ground and walked to his desk to grab his bag walking out of the silent classroom behind Carlos.
Jay got to her brothers car crying and throwing everything to the ground that was in her hand and screaming. Maria ran to her and held her close while she cried and mind linked her and Jay s brothers telling them to come down there. Miles, Jake Tyler, Mike, and Chris came running as fast as they could down the stairs into the parking lot to see Maria holding Jay as she shook and cried. Miles took her away from Maria s arms and held her in his arms. I m gonna kill her! Where is she Jay?! Tyler yelled in his high girly voice (oh I forgot to tell you he s gay but that will come up in the story and ways enjoy J). Calm down Ty we handled it. Carlos said as him and Pat came to the parking lot and Jay calmed down and told Miles to put her down and she hid behind Tyler. He s not one of us why is he here?! Mike yelled and Pat smirked and he closed his eyes reopening them to show them blood red as his razor sharp fangs started coming out of his gums and he showed them to while his black wings, with a blue aura around them, came out of his back and his wolf ears started to grow including his claws. Jay looked from behind Tyler and gasped. C-can I touch them? she asked in a soft voice and Pat nodded and she came towards him slowly putting her hands out and felt them gasping as she felt the electric shock from them making her eyes turn indigo. Y-your m-my m-mate? she stuttered and everyone smiled and looked at eachother knowingly. Pat looked down at her and smiled at her and she smiled back but a voice in her head was telling her she wouldnt be a good luna because she is weak and damaged and she ran away from him with Pat behind her yelling for her to stop and the bond made her and she was out of breath gasping and panting as he came up behind her and wrapped himself around her whimpering. "Please dont leave me again...i couldnt bare the thought of my luna leaving me." Pat whimpered and she nodded and they walked to her house holding eachother letting the elecctricity flow throughout their bodies into their hearts warming their souls becoming one with eachother. As they got there Jay felt safe with him next to her so she brought him into the house and she looked to the sky and screamed and screamed until she felt Pat behind her whispering soft things into her ear making her silence and the mate bond was finally complete. Pat and Jay's wolves both howled in excitement and purred inside their bodies making them both feel happier and complete than they have ever felt before. "I love you Patrick forever and always through sickness and health and through thick and thin." Jay said and he smiled making all the pain leave his eyes and hers to. Jay felt fire works go through her body. She pulled him as close and she possible could to feel the warmth seep into her skin and he lifted up her chin and kissed her lips making her smile as he pulled back and she sighed looking at the clock and Pat felt her sadness and understood what she meant quickly. "Go get you a bag and pack two weeks worth of clothes your coming home with me." Pat said and Jay nodded and ran upstairs while Pat laughed at her and walked behind her as she ran to her room and took out a bag and started with her under garment and then her pants and shirts then her shoes and Pat just sat there staring at her admiring her smile and weird look she gets when she focused for to long he smirked and threw a pilliow at her and she glared at him flicking him off and threw the bag at him smirking as he caught it grunting.
"Come on blue jay time to fly." Pat said and she nodded and jumped on his back and he flew up out of the opening of Jay's celing and flew to his house. When they got in Pat and Jay settled in and took seperate showers put clothes on and cuddled in the bed falling asleep right before the movie started that was on the tv. Patrick woke up and saw Jay still sleeping peacefully and smiled kissing her forehead while looking at the clock seeing it was 4:30 in the morning. Pat had woken up from a nightmare of losing Jay and their unborn child but he knows it was just a dream. He scooted down on the bed so he could lay on her stomach and he smiled and kept thinking and thinking about how they will be when they get older. As he was thinking he began to dose off then soon fell asleep.
Jay woke up not realising where she was and she looked down to see Pat on her stomach snoring very loudly and she kissed his forehead and gently got up from under him to go downstairs to make breakfast. Jay gets everything she needed to make blueberry muffins, eggs, toast, bacon, and three hot pockets for Pat. She heard thundering foot steps along with screaming and the smell of blood filling her nose and the front door banged open to reveal Patricks sister Charliee and his brothers Tyson and Chris carrying Maria, who was covered in scars and blood, and saw that Jay was about to scream and she passed out from shock making a loud thump.
Pat heard the thump and jumped out of bed and ran down the steps looking at the scene before him and he looked at Jay on the ground passed out and he growled at everyone making them silent.
"What the hell happened?!" He asked screaming making everyone whimper and flinch as he picked up Jay holding her in his arms. " Gabriel is coming home." Tyson said in his cute southern accent and Pat looked at him as his eyes started to glow bright red and he tightened his grip on Jay's body.
"Take Maria to my study, Tyson heal her , Charliee and Chris come up stairs, The rest of you eat everything but my hotpockets we will be back in a short amount of time." Pat said as he walked up the steps while Charliee and Chris followed closely behind them keeping Maria alive and breathing.
Patrick placed Jay on the satin sheet covered bed and sat by her as Charliee and Chris put Maria on the table and began healing her.
" He can not know Jay is alive Chris, he'll hurt her." Pat said and he nodded and Jay woke up and hit him upside the head with her hand glaring at him and he gulped. " My brother is not destructive anymore than i am let him come to me and lets see what happens." Jay said and Pat just nodded and sighed running his fingers through his hair.
"Jay just be careful ok if i lose you i will go insane literally. Im just worried that someone will take you away from me." Pat said and she sighed and kissed his cheeks making him blush.
"I promise i will be okay remember like i always will say now you are stuck with me no matter what and nobody will change that do you understand me?" Jay asked and he nodded and she looked towards Tyson and smirked.
"Sooooooo...Why is he here?" Jay asked and Tyson laughed and threw a marker at her smirking and Pat looked at the two confused but yet a little jealous.
"He is my brother baby cakes. Just because we dont date no more your still my annoying little midget bestfriend." Tyson said and she laughed and he came over to hug her as everyone else came into the room laughing and they all sat down talking and making jokes.
"Gabriel sat on the dark oak tree looking thorough the window at his twin sister and their brothers wishing he could tell her he was sorry for all the wrong he has done. Fourteen years ago the devil's son Luke brain washed him. Luke told Gabriel that he saw his mother with his father. Gabriel was furious and confronted her saying he wished she would just die already while Gabriel's father John saw him yelling and screaming holding a knife in his hand and ran to get the knife out of his son's hand. Jay, Jake, and Miles were in the corner holding eachother looking at their brother go insane. Jay screamed as Gabriel cut his mother's neck with the knife and it glowed red as John screamed and cried for his beloved Sonja. Gabriel came out of the haze he was in and looked at the scene before him wondering what had happened until he saw the knife in his hand and ran out the house leaving his twin and his two younger brothers. Over the years he has watched them grow up and develop into exceptional young adults especially his twin Jay. Every year on thier birthday he leaves her black and red roses hoping she will know who has left her these and would forgive him for his undoubtful mistake. As for Luke well he had his consequence. His father kicked him out of the underworld. He stripped him of his powers forcing him to live as a human being but with the exception of never getting old or dying. Luke hates his father but understands why this is his consequence so he doesnt question now is happy with his wife Penelope and his twin boys Harry and Niall. Funny part is his wife is an angel whom was sent to him to watch him. Its been fourteen years since he has last seen Gabriel and wishes he could take back his mistake but he hopes one day he will forgive him. Patrick looked out the window and nodded at Gabriel and he appeared in the house leaving everyone speechless and his family looking at him shocked. Jay looks at him closely smiled so big and ran into his open arms hugging him tight as he does the same. Miles and Jake came and hugged them to and then everyone joined in the hug and then it got akward so they laughed and let go. Patrick looked at his siblings nodding and everyone finally felt like a family and that they would protect eachother with their lives no matter what cause.
The next day everyone went to school and everyone found their mate and for the first time in years they felt complete. Pat and Jay grew stronger as their relationship developed and they decided to get married after they travel to where ever they go after their graduation. Gabriel and his brothers became closer and him and Jay's twin bond grew stronger. Eventually everyone forgave him fully and they had a real funeral for their parents for the first time. Ten years later they all were happy and Jay and Pat were expecting their first child on December 19th 2030. Jay was excited and gave birth to Justin Jason Whitmore. They got married three months after they had Justin in Sterling, Illionis and their families finally met for the first time. Everyone had been through alot over the years but yet kept the same faith they have had all of their lives and thats what makes a pack. Courage, Faith, Hope, and Love.
