So this story takes place if the war never started, but Aang was born in Katara's time. Aang is still the avatar, but he's age is 14 and so is Katara's. Also Aang isn't regularly Aang because he isn't fully realized or matured enough, he acts differently. So prepare for a different Aang, and different Katara. Katara is still a little the same, but she acts differently towards Aang. Also, I don't plan for this story to be dirty at all, maybe kissing but I don't intend further. I am going to do different point of views, just because I couldn't pick between whose side I should write from. So please, enjoy.

Aang's P.O.V.

"Monk Gyatso, why do I have to go to the Southern water tribe? I mean I already went to the Northern water tribe. And I completed my training there. Shouldn't we be going to the Earth kingdom?"

"Ah, yes. And we will." This old man. Man sometimes I just don't get him. But he continued, "But there is a Southern water girl there, and she is the only water bender there. And her father asked for the Avatar to help her."

"But how did you know her father?"

"He is the tribe leader. He was on a mission, and went to the Northern water tribe while we were there. And while you were out with girls that night we made a date to meet, and now you will teach her everything you know." Ugh, I just hate it when Gyatso is always having me helping people. I mean, I know it's the avatars duty. But like seriously I am fourteen, I should be able to go out and have fun. Like every other teenager there is. As long as it makes Gyatso happy, I guess I will do this.

"Okay, but one question."

"Mhmm." He carried out while filling his face with some soup.

"How old?"

"Oh. Well I don't quite remember I believe she's around 12. Yeah, I think 12."

Oh great! I am going to be training a little kid! This won't be fun AT ALL! I had sat in a sleeping position in the back of the saddle.

"Well if I'm training a kid, I'm getting rest." I closed my eyes, and surprisingly I fell asleep.

"Aang. Aang, wake up."

"Uh?" I sat up I had realized I was with one of my past lives. It was Yangchen.

"Yangchen. I wasn't expecting you."

"Yes, I'm well aware. Anyways, this girl you are going to train. She is a big part of something that you will be involved with in the future. You two will both work great together as a team." I was confused, I thought my past lives couldn't tell the future?

"How do you know?"

"Because I have been watching her and you for awhile. I knew you guys were going to work together because she was alone in her village. Please, don't do something you don't feel right about doing. Remember you have a lot of past lives to ask wisdom for, don't forget." And with that she was gone still I replied with,

"I won't."

I woke up to Gyatso saying my name over from the head of Appa.

"Get up Aang time to meet the nice girl."

"Ok Monk Gyatso."

"Ready?"

"Yeah, ready." He turned and I rolled my eyes, no matter what Yangchen said or Gyatso said I was not ready for this, nor was I excited. We airbended off of Appa and walked through snow for a while before we were met by a group of people.

` "Hi avatar Aang!"

"Hello Avatar, enjoy your stay."

Everyone was greeting me. It's cool and all, but I don't like big crowds. Or people praising me 24/7. At the end of the group we walked past there was a tall tanned man, and a boy who looked the same, about 16 or 17 years old next to him. He spoke,

"Hello Avatar! Thank you so much for training my daughter there isn't much benders here no more." He turned around and started walking but ending up next to me, his son I'm guessing went by Gyatso. "Most benders went to the Northern water tribe, that's why I was there. I was there talking to some benders." We walked into a village, but walked past everything and ended in front of a big hut. A beautiful, tanned, long-haired,and sapphire blue eyed girl walked out of it. She was the most prettiest girls I've ever seen, and I have seen a lot of girls. Especially at the Northern water tribe, but they never ever compared to her. She was perfect.

"Ah! Here is my daughter." He walked up to her and put his arm around him, she smiled.

"This is who I am going to train?" I blurted out without thinking. My gosh was she gorgeous!

"Yeah, you acted like you were expecting a 10 year old." He laughed at his joke.

"Oh haha, no definitely not a 10 year old." I nervously chuckled.I guess my face was more surprised looking then I thought.

"Well Aang, this is Katara." She put her hand out to shake. Pilote. Nice.

"Hello Aang." She said, I stuck my hand out to shake hers.

"Hello Katara, pleasure to meet you." I left her hand and bowed.

"Okay, okay. You don't have to make her like you." Said the other boy standing by Gyatso. I'm guessing thats her brother. Definitely her brother.

"Oh, nice to meet you." I stuck my hand out to met him properly. But he didn't nudge. Wow, okay. He's someone to look out for.

"My names Sokka, and I am coming with you guys. So I can protect her."

"Ugh, Sokka." Katara came over a pushed his shoulder playfully.

"Go easy, and plus he is the avatar." I smiled at them both at her response. Sokka just rolled his eyes.

"Ah Hakoda, may we speak? And let them get to know each other?" Monk Gyatso had stepped around us and went to her father. I didn't catch his name even when Gyatso said it.

"Yes. Please come in." He walked over and pulled up fur that was like a sheet door.

"So." I said, I just made it awkward. Wow. Aang calm down, she is just so beautiful and her brother is scaring me. I don't know what is happening. Usually I am the best at the ladies, even when their brothers or even dads are near. Ugh just don't say something stupid Aang.

"So, how old are you? Well, I mean I have heard the stories of you being 18, 10, and even 110." Katara asked me, shes funny. I like her. I laughed and smiled.

"No, those ages are not true." I said it while chuckling, so they heard me. "I am only 14. going on 15 later in the year."

"Oh, that's cool. I am only 14. But I am turning 15 in about a week." Katara smiled. I loved her smile even though I just met her.

"I am just glad I am coming on this trip. So that I can watch you two. And that Aang doesn't play with Katara." He turned to me looking stern, but he doesn't really scare me. Her father, and Gyatso came out. Her father carrying their bags. Sokka ran over and grabbed them. Gyatso told me we should start to walk so they would have their goodbyes. He told them we would wait before getting in Appa. Which we did. They started walking towards us, soon they were really close. I saw Katara wipe some tears off of her face. So cute, I just want to hold her. But I know I can't.
