Don't Die on Me

Matt was looking out in to the darkness as he woke up in a bad dream. He thinks something bad happened or is going to happen and looks at the picture of Mimi on his mirror and starts to panic. He calls her house but no answer. He tries one more time this time Mimi's Dad picked up "Hello?" "Hello can I speak to Mimi? This is Matt." "Yeah here I'll get her there's a scream in the background a woman picks up and says that Mimi had been unconscious and has a bloody wound to her head from someone who shot her threw the window with a silencer. That he could see her in the hospital.
Matt hung up the phone and ran out the house like a speeding bullet and rushed over to the hospital hoping that his love would be okay. He at least wanted a chance to tell her before she was gone. He was like a maniac. He made it to the hospital and hoped they would catch who ever did this to her. She was in the emergency room when he got there and found her parents crying over their little baby getting hurt and thanked him for calling because they wouldn't of checked in her room until it was too late and she would be dead. It wasn't for sure that she would make it but it didn't go in her head it just went to the side and curt her deeply and might of died from loss of blood.
Mimi made it out of the operation and when it was Matt's turn to see her he talked to her a little bit and told her that he promised that he would come everyday till she was better then tell her that he loved her when she woke up. The doctors said she would be in coma for maybe a couple of years. Matt would stay with her even if it took ten years. He brought her a flower everyday and placed it by her on the side table and the next day would put it in the vase and put a new one on her table. He waited for eight months and he wasn't going to give up just yet. He was determined to have her wake up today.
When he got their he saw a beautiful smile on her face and hugged her and said in a whisper" I missed you so much."
"I have too. Bu how long have I been asleep?"
"Eight months."
"Oh my gosh what happened?"
"You were sideswiped by a bullet by a shoot and run and his in jail because of my testimony."
"Thank you, Matt I could always depend on you to bring us through here or the digital world"
"Having this happening made me realize that I never want to lose you with out telling you this. Mimi I hope you do this back but even then I still will love you forever."
"Matt I love you too."
